Loess loomed over Carmilla's hands.
Focusing his dust on her wrists.
Concentrating every particle he could control toward that specific spot.
Melissa tried to reason with Carmilla
Her voice shook not loud enough… but scared. Trembling slightly as she spoke,
showing fear for her life in that moment.
So Loess did something to help Melissa that is the swords he didn't know about,
he used most of his remaining dust and solidified it around Carmilla's wrists,
forming hard rock-like bindings from pure matter concentration
Carmilla's wrists were now glued together by solidified material, restricting movement completely...
The hope? That this imbalance would make her lose balance.
Loess decided to not say anything, leaving words stuff to Melissa.
Carmilla didn't see Melissa's swords.
Too distracted. Her focus was on Loess, on the dust swirling around her wrists…
Trying to decipher what he was doing…
why it felt heavier suddenly…
Loess's improved rock ability activated.
Solid material formed instantly,
binding both of Carmilla's elegant hands together in a hard grip.
That messed with her balance slightly not enough to fall completely… but enough that she wobbled just a tiny bit upon landing.
But balance is one of her skills.
She had perfect posture control. Could dance on air if needed…
so this small disruption?
But then came something unexpected
With actual swords two thin blades flashing from seemingly nowhere,
moving fast despite how frail she looked seconds ago
The attack shocked Carmilla more than anything else,
A soft assistant… pleading in tears earlier…
Now attacking fiercely with weapons no one knew she owned? (Except for velvette)
Carmilla jumped back, firm posture, looking at the scared assistant.
Not only was her voice shaking, but her hands too.
The look on Melissa's eyes, that fear, those tears, her trying to reason with her.
On a side, Velvette is right where she wanted her to be, she can just stab her now with her shoes.
And on the other hand, there is Melissa.
Loess Didn't do anything, apparently even a sarcastic demon like him can shut his mouth in serious situations.
If her hands were free, her head would've been in them.
Did she go too far? This question she finally acknowledged, Melissa was right, Velvette agreed to discuss and make the deal as tame as possible.
But again, she already got stronger?
Carmilla opened her eyes again, taking a look at Velvette that's pieces now.
Now seeing velvette in this state, doesn't feel right.
Then she looked at Melissa, those swords were nothing to Carmilla, she can just take care of her in one attack that would barely cost the energy of a pinky , she's still an overlord after all.
"I better not regret this"
An inside thought, before saying to melissa.
"Maybe it's time for a discussion.."
She really hoped to not be risking a chance for nothing again.
She looks at the rock that's holding her wrists together.
"I am going to speak, you can let go of my hands."
"If you didn't show your true colors, I would've believed you like an idiot."
Carmilla sighed in exhaustion, it seems that her hands are going to be pals for a while.
