Dave is Demiromantic Bisexual; he’s the guy in high school who never dated anyone but slept with everyone basically. Not actually but you get the jist of it, you must WOO the Strider.

Rose is Biromantic Homosexual; while she can get romantic attachments to both genders she can’t feel jazzy with everyone down there. Its been quiet the trial since people don’t take much notice to romantic orientation.

Jade is Panromantic Asexual; she loves people just doesn’t feel like doing the nasty with them. But if there is someone whom she likes a lot (romantically of course) she has no problem doing some nasty things with them, doesn’t mean she feels much.

Aradia is Biromantic Graysexual; she’s all for the romance although you’ll be lucky if she’s want to get down with ya. Very rarely does she wanna do the kiss kiss lets fuck (get it kiss kiss fall in love??).

Tavros is Biromantic Homosexual; “when you see a nice girl and you don’t know what to say, you missed your chance now she probably thinks your gay” that perfectly describes this guy. He is gay but sometimes he wants to give ladies flowers too.

Sollux is Demiromantic Bisexual; in all honesty he could give a literal shit what gender you are or what his own orientation is. He just likes doing the nasty with anyone who is attractive, but he’s not so big on the whole romance deal.

Karkat is Panromantic Pansexual; he likes all genders AND he wants to frick all genders. Although honestly he would rather just romance you all the time cuz thats what he is good at.

Nepeta is Panromantic Homosexual; she likes everyone and only wants to frick with the chicks. She’s a romance casanova btw, its like “cat got your tongue”?

Kanaya is Biromantic Homosexual; she definitely don’t want the ‘D’ she just wants the ‘V’, also she usually wants to just romance the girls, guys mayybbeee.

Terezi is Demiromantic Demisexual; YOU MUST WOO TEREZI NO MATTER WHAT IT IS. SHE IS QUEENLY AND MUST BE WOOED. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Vriska is Panromantic Pansexual; everyone.

Equius is Biromantic Homosexual; he could love a gal but not want to do the gal, although the guys are all in the clear. Let the rainbow train motherfuckin’s depart.

This is one of the stories thats taking place within the Assorted Candies AU, thats how things will be styled now so yup. I think I'm going to go back to the once a week schedule except maybe Sundays because it always ends up on Sunday some how so ye.

So the question is, how will the stories be told? So there is going to be at least 17 stories that will all be apart of a series! The one that I decided to put up for today is the Equius/Gamzee story. Yes all of the stories are romance, I realized thats what I wanted to write and thats what I am going to write. But, that doesn't mean there will not be other elements to them as well! I'm tempted to put up all the pairings... HMM.

Anyway, there will be different kinds of relationships like:

-Male/Male

-Female/Female

-Female/Male

-BDSM relationship (does not mean that their will be sex scenes just the kind of relationship Master/Slave kinda dealio, and yes I do know about this kinda stuff it will be written correctly)

-Asexual Relationships

-Rare Pairs and Crack Ships

Asking me when the update is and about characters, adorable little shitakes. Whale, I guess this is the appropriate time to say...

The next update is going to take a while. Character profiles are being put on hold right now, and stories will not be taking to much of the places for a probubbly long while... The reason is, is that I set up a bunch of arcs that I hate now. Like, Molly? She was (at the very beginning) paired with Aradia and that drastically changed cuz I was like "she's asexual and heteromantic I totally forgot about that shit" so she was gonna set Aradia up with her person. But that did nothing for the character so????

And then SIDRA. She was paired with Feferi (at the beginning) but then I was like "this is dumb" and Sidra's arc actually has nothing to do romance? Cuz like, she was supposed to have like some minor problems that she was able to deal with and then BOOM big problems etc. etc. etc. but what I introduced her with didn't really do anything with that???

LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT KANKRI, I barely developed the little shit and had no idea where I was going with it. Also he's asexual and I was gonna try do a thing between him and cro obviously but I couldn't figure it out??? BLUH.

Needless to say, Assorted Candies will be taking a revamp of stories and plots and arcs OH MY.

hi... I really like the story so far and I was just _wondering_ if you were planning any new characters at the moment? I think throwing a new person into the mix would be really cool!

[Well in terms of Homestuck characters, almost every single one will be appearing in this in some form of another. Like all the human kids and trolls, alpha and beta, will appear.

But if you mean like other non-homestuck characters...

There will be some but they don't show up till really later ish I think. I mean I can tell you about possible contenders.

I'll give codenames for now...

Reef, she's going to intentionally fuck shit up for some cotton candied folk. By just appearing. Then there's... Darlin' who will come up maybe. ACTUALLY SHE IS ANOTHER CHARACTER THAT WILL APPEAR I FORGOT ALL ABOUT HER-

What inspired the story?

[So a long time ago (middle school) I was really into making OC's inspired off of me and my friends and then putting them into our favorite shows and stuff. I still am. Obviously.

To really know the origin of this story we're going back to when I was in my D Gray Man hype, I was writing me and friends into a bunch a different animes and shit except that was when I was weaboo and went about it all wrong.

Anyway, soon that happened when I got into the Hetalia fandom. Which has some many AU options it hurts but so it when from, a Gauken Hetalia AU where myself and my friends were made up countries, and then onto to us in a pirate AU with the Hetalia characters.

There was a mysterious island and stuff in it and then I'm pretty shore from that spawned the idea of

"Paradise Island"

in essence it was an island no one could get off for many a different reasons with magical shit and stuff.

It was a huge multi fandom thing.

So yeah there ya go.

Nah kidding there's more, anyway over time the magic and no one getting off part kinda faded away. The fandoms existing on it got less and less, and it became Homestuck focussed.

Then, I hated having so many fandoms so scrapped the rest of the fandoms and moved all the homestucks (and the fictional versions of my friends and I) to New York.

Then at my birthday party earlier this year everyone started calling each other by candy names. I (Astra) was Cotton Candy, Iliana was Smarties (The British Kind), and so on and so forth.

Thats when I got this bright idea to give everyone candy names and move people to SF cuz I didn't like writing about NY.

So it became

Assorted Candies!

What are "the island days"?

Okay so originally this took place on a fictional island, and it was multifandom. The actual backstory of why fictional character were all stuck on an island and the back story of the island itself changed a lot over time. It was called Paradise Island.

At one point they were dragged all from their respective universes to the island.

At another it was based off that everyone was the descendant of someone out of a pirate AU I had.

Yeah. I'm still considering of making an ask blog for this AU. Although I need an artist to help me with that because my art is alright but...

Anyway it had Hetalia, Doctor Who, Homestuck, Attack on Titan, Black Butler, Transformers Prime, Pandora Hearts, and more.

Aradia isn't what the fandom makes her as far as who she is, the Aradia the fandom has created ain't really her. Sure she can be creepy sometimes but she isn't some crazy lunatic. In this AU she's really fascinated by death and sometimes uses it to lighten situations but she's real respectful of it. But thats just a little aspect of her. Although in this story I'm going to try and point out what the fandom makes her out to be... Like people will be like "oh its the death girl" probsvris and she'll be like hey bitch thats not who I am. Yeah.

Porrim... Pfft, she's actually gonna be sorta inspired off my mother? They're really similar but of course she's going to still be Porrim... Uhh what about her. She may or may not spend a portion of her time yelling at Kankri for something cuz he is a cute lil' dumb. But I want to spend a lot of time on her and showing people she's a lot more than just Kankri. It pisses me off because all I ever see of her is when she is with Kanny and I just- its okay if thats what floats your boat but I wanna show that shes more than that.
