my writing, artwork, thoughts about life...I am indigo still finding her way through the seas of life. i am healer, and an empath, and believe that our answers lie within the energy around us. In the presence of the fog lifting from my brain

All it has revealed

Is how badly I've been failing

The entire time

How do I recover from that

When there is no place to hide

I am fully exposed

No time to process it slowly

Too many endings happening all around me

As I contemplate my own

Pieces...that is all I am

Millions of broken pieces

Surrounded by the dust

that once were the edges that held

them together

The prison I now find myself in is called

Clarity

Yet I cannot see my way out

Im washing my sheets for the 1st time since you last slept in them

For the first time ever,

I found myself moving to the middle

Not to claim it all

But to hug the pillow that held your head last.

I have been putting this off,

I do not want to wash your energy from this bed.

Which is confusing

Since we had spent so little time here

But I always cherished when you did.

I was just bad at expressing that

So now I lay here clutching to the lingering essence of you

Maybe I'll just wash everything else,

And leave you here a little longer...

Nobody ever talks about

Falling in love

And falling apart

At the same time

We'll call it the metamorphosis of

The butterfly

And somehow be expected to understand it because we have felt them in our tummy,

but never had wings of our own...

Endlessly pondering

Sometimes… In the brief moments of silence, between the endless worry and anxiety. I see you, I smell you, I feel your warmth….And…. I think I love you.

Yet, I’ve never seen you, I’ve never embraced your scent, And Ive never felt your warmth, Or even met you in this life….

The thing is… It feels safe, I don’t even fear it, Or question it… Yet. I don’t even know you, And know I love you…

-ArtsFarmington presents UNBOUGHT, 5pm. Emery Performance Space. Admission: $20, more if you can, less if you can’t; no one turned away. Free for UMF students. Tickets at artsfarmington.org with a limited number available at the door.

-Titcomb Mountain Ski Patrol Spaghetti Supper. 5-6:30pm at the lodge. $7 per person or $25 for a family of four (cash and checks only). Featuring spaghetti & sauce, garlic bread, desserts, beverages, a 50/50 raffle and a bake sale, all to support the volunteer ski patrol.

Sunday 2/23
