Hello, my name is Saja. Iām a mother to a beautiful 8-month-old baby girl, writing this from a place I never imagined Iād be ā surrounded by destruction, holding on to my daughter while the world around us falls apart. š
We used to have a home. š A simple place, but it was filled with love. Now itās gone. What remains are memories, silence, and an overwhelming fear of what tomorrow may bring.
Each day, I wake up not knowing if we will make it through the next. My daughter should be learning to walk, to smile at strangers, to feel safe in her world ā but instead, sheās learning to live in the middle of a war zone. šļø
Iām not writing this to ask for pity. Iām sharing our truth because silence wonāt protect us. Maybe, through this message, someone will hear us ā and care. š¤
If you feel moved to share our story or offer support, it would mean more than words can say. Every kind act ripples outward. āØ

Hi there š± I hope you are doing well. My name is Naser, and Iām from Gaza. I donāt want to make anyone uncomfortable, but I wanted to share a piece of my story ā because right now, itās the only way I know to try and survive.
This war has changed everything. I lost my mother and my sister. Our home is gone. What used to be a normal life ā school, family meals, laughter ā has been replaced by fear, rubble, and silence.
Now, Iām displaced with my three younger brothers. Iāve become their protector, their parent, their hope. We sleep side by side and I try to make them feel safe, even when Iām scared too.
We are trying to raise funds to rebuild our lives ā to find a safe place, to go back to school, to have something to believe in again. I dream of going to university. My brothers have their own dreams too ā of being a doctor, an engineer, just being kids again.
If youāre able to support us by donating š or even just sharing our campaign š, it would truly mean the world. Every small act of kindness brings us a little closer to hope.

Thank you for taking the time to read this š And if you'd rather not receive messages like this, please just let me know and I wonāt reach out again.

Can you hear us? Can you feel what weāre going through? Fear. Hunger. Death. A never-ending siege. The silence of the world hurts as much as the bombs.
We're crying out to your humanityāplease don't look away. Speak about us. Stand with us. We're not okay. We're trying to survive.
This is not a nightmare. It's our reality.
Don't forget us. Do somethingāanything. Share. Donate. Repost. Help keep us alive.

āThereās beauty in imperfections. They made you who you are. An inseparable piece of everything I admired about youā
The gear shaped table in the Piltover council room is repaired with gold after being broken in pieces, like the practice of kintsugi with ceramics. One interpretation of kintsugi is that thereās beauty in imperfections. Even if brokenāthe imperfections are what make it beautiful.
A quick google search of the general concept of Kintsugi. And is this not so reflective of Viktorās journey to self-acceptance and the way that Jayce sees him? Viktor feels broken, but Jayce loves and embraces every part of him.
The appearance or symbolism of the gear is also in a lot of their scenes, so the gear-shaped table in their context (and seeing it first with Jayce) feels significant to me. Just my thoughts, but I thought it was a nice detail.
arcane has me feeling so many things! iām going to be thinking about it for awhileā¦

doodle dump from Instagram! been more than a year since the show came out and iām due for a rewatch
What pen did you use for the Fionna and cake posts you made about a weak ago? It looks like the digital equivalent of a fine tipped pen and its a fucken slay homie š«¢ (shading is neat too)
Oh gosh I donāt know how old this question is, and Iām sorry if itās extremely late! Except for one, all of my Fionna and Cake works so far have been drawn traditionally with an ink pen and then either colored with a prismacolor marker or digitally colored!
hello snow
i'm seeing people losing hope for palestine i'm begging you seriously please don't. the death toll is high but there are still people alive, there are still journalists risking everything to make sure the world sees what is happening. please continue protesting if you have the option to, keep demanding for a ceasefire and keep talking about palestinians both alive and dead. you have to keep going until the very end or else you really did fail them.
Reminder that before all this, the population of Gaza was approximately 2,300,000. The current death toll is around 15,500 - possibly as many as 20,000. That's horrific, yes. But that means that there are still at least 2,280,000 gazans alive and kicking. There are 2.28 million people who would benefit from a permanent ceasefire; for an end to Israeli hostility; for increased aid and reliable access to food and water. There are still 2.28 million people that Israel has not managed to kill.
So keep making noise. Do whatever you can to help those 2.28 million living people, and to remember and honour the 15,000-20,000 lives that have been taken. Giving up on Gaza helps no one but Israel.
