“you can’t be here, Yoongi.” she murmurs softly, her french acrylic nails tapping on the glass table. Something yoongi noticed she did when she was anxious, even after all this time, she was the same. The clock ticking in the background filling up the silent house, Jaehyun could be back any time now and there she was, sitting in their dinner table with her Ex fiancé.
She hadn’t heard much about Yoongi since they finally broke it off, being on and off for the past 7 years was hard, loving someone who wasn’t always there was hard. She loved him, always, but she needed to let it go in order to heal. She remembers the way he would he sing to her when she was sad or when he would try to make her smile, when he would help her study and make her food before her exams so she could take to school, she remembers him encouraging her to do her best because he loved her and she was a star in his eyes.
As much as she loved him and remembered good things, Yoongi began to drown himself in drugs, spending his days locked up in the room, missing work and not caring anymore about anyone or anything.
“I just wanted to see you. If you didn’t want me here, you wouldn’t have told me to come.” He rasps, running his hands through his blond hair. She can see It’s been a while because his dark roots stood out.
She curses at herself because it’s true, she didn’t want him here but she wanted him. She missed him but she didn’t miss him.
“I’m married now. It’s different.” she whispers. She isn’t sure if she’s trying to convince him or herself.
“So what? We were supposed to get married. do you remember that,” His voice raises, “i gave you my moms ring and i proposed and you threw it all down the drain.” He shouts, his eyes traveling to her hand that was still covered in dainty tattoos. He remembers they had gone together, a dare from Jimin. They got matching moon and sun tattoos on their middle finger.
He always got his tattoos touched up, whenever he saw that they were disappearing. He also noticed the huge diamond on her ring finger, Yoongi’s moms ring should have been there.
He was hurt, his heart hurt. He loved Y/n and he would always until the day he dies.
“you know the reason why. i loved you -“ She stands up, tears swelling up in her eyes, “I loved you and everyone knew that! I got you out that drug shit when nobody wanted to help but Jimin and I!” She shouts.
He rises from his seat and walks over to the small window in the kitchen, “Ahh fuck you! Jimin is the only one there for me now. You left me and got married to some rich ass high class fucker, you live the life while i’m alone and loving you still” He laughs.
“Fuck me? I left for the good of both of us, you weren’t gonna stop doing drugs and I didn’t want a life like the one my mother gave me. I didn’t want to have kids with someone who spends money on drugs every single goddamn day!” She pushes him, hitting his chest with her light fists but he doesn’t budge, He stands there watching her.
It had been four years since he had last seen her. Her hair was a little bit longer than before, her baby face was gone and small wrinkles on her face due to aging, but yoongi still believes she’s just as beautiful as she was back then.
he hates loving her.
“No you didn’t. You’re a bitch, i loved you and you left me.” He sneers, leaning down to stare at her in the eyes, “You’ll never be happy with him and we both know it.” he hisses, his words like venom burning her deep inside.
She loved Jaehyun, he wasn’t a bad husband. He was so caring and amazing, he made her feel like a queen and she felt loved, with him it felt like a home. She could talk to him about anything and everything.
But yoongi was right. there was no way Jaehyun could ever replaced or take away the love she had for Yoongi.
“Get out of my house.” She cried, pushing him out into the hallway. He grabbed her wrist and stared at her, he opens his mouth but no words came out.
He was empty.
“I hate you yoongi.” She cried again, tears streaming down her face. Yoongi hated to see her cry but he always knew how to make her cry, he always knew how to hurt her and he hated himself for it, hearing her say she hates him with tears down his face rips him apart.
He stands there speechless, watching her break down because of his harsh words.
“Get the fuck out! Are you dumb?! Get out!” She opens her front door and he walks out, but before he steps out the front door, his fist smashes into a photo of Y/n and Jaehyun on their wedding night. He feels his knuckles immediately leaking with blood staining the white carpet, she opens the door to push him out but comes face to face with her husband.
The smile on his face fades, “What happened, baby?”
