i just finished the section 31 film. i can't lie, i'd probably watch michelle yeoh do anything and be moderately content, and i loved georgiou in disco, but are we sure that was a star trek film.

since i moved here i always try and go and see this tree on my birthday. for perspective. it's between 500 and 550 years old, and looks amazing in the snow.

i love that my birthday is so close to new year, it feels like a complete turning of the page.

i took the night off work last night so i wouldn't have to sleep away my birthday, and really didn't expect much to happen. my colleagues sent me off yesterday morning with a card with money in it, cake, and a dragon hot water bottle. i am very lucky.

since i was a small child, i always thought i would live to 32. no actual medical reason to think this, i just always knew that's the age my mum made it to, and being a child (with some trauma) you don't look at it logically... 32 just became the age. so i am taking nothing for granted and still happy to be here. physically healthy and still learning so much about who i am and what's good for me.

i'm going for a walk in the snow now. gonna catch some pokémon and get a coffee. might watch some star trek later ✌️

2024 was really something. there sure were some lows, but there sure were some highs

i'm finishing 2024 watching season 8 of desperate housewives, celebrating after mentally fighting through whatever was stopping me booking my flight to serbia in march. finally done.
