Poor Chiwoo looked more frazzled than Aster felt. He himself was keeping himself steady, but he'd kind of tossed this at Chiwoo randomly, so he couldn't blame him for being...surprised. Even though the older brother got a feeling that this hadn't been a one-time thing he should have caught from Chiwoo.
The older hadn't thought too hard on things beyond being...brothers--but this brought up a lot of odd feelings that he didn't want to push away. That had to be a good sign, right?
Relaxing when the younger man agreed to the mutual want for a kiss, he offered a reassuring smile, though he was thrown off by the other's sudden push forward into the kiss. Thank goodness he wasn't standing, he may very well have toppled from the surprise--and it usually took a lot to surprise Aster. Kind of. Chiwoo was pretty good at surprising him, in many ways. But this may have been the biggest surprise he'd had in a while.
The kiss was quick, but effective. He felt warmth rush through him, settling onto his cheeks as his little brother pulled back and away. The clumsiness had been cute, and the liuxing major wanted to tell the other that, but with how flighty Chiwoo could be when flustered, Aster chose to act in response rather than speak.
No slap, and no, he wasn't dumb. Well, maybe a little in the moment for thinking that Aster would hit him...even if he hadn't wanted the kiss. He'd never hurt his brother on purpose.
No lie. No joke. No slap. Both of his hands lifted to touch the younger's cheeks, at first just the tips of his fingers, then he cupped the warm skin into his palms so he could keep him steady, leaning in to take his own kiss--not like he'd expected them to take turns, but it worked out that way. Aster didn't pull back as quickly, however. He tipped his head and deepened the kiss slightly, taking in the feeling of Chiwoo's soft lips against his own.
But he wasn't out to give the other a heart attack, so the bounty hunter leaned back, breaking the kiss in a much softer, much slower movement. As if he were nervous that he'd spook the hybrid into fleeing. The thought nearly made him chuckle, but he held it back, knowing very well that a misplaced sound of amusement may actually send Chiwoo running.
"Calm down," he whispered, back to stroking his brother's cheeks with his thumbs, trying to soothe him. He looked like the kimchi was back to suffocating him with how freaked out he looked. "I like your kisses," this time gentle amusement bubbled up with his words, giving a soft laugh, still close but not enough to make it hard to see his expression. "This is okay," Aster reassured, no question behind his words. Sneaking in another soft kiss, then another, his fingers combed back through his brother's hair affectionately while he probably walked the razor's edge of sending Chiwoo into some sort of panic. But he couldn't help himself...it, again, hadn't been something he'd thought about very much, if at all. So this sudden surge of warmth and separate feelings from him not just...being his brother made him feel so good and right. Even if others may not agree with how right it felt. Aster didn't care.
Allowing the other a moment to react, rather than attacking him with continued gentle, fleeting kisses, he leaned back to look over the other's expression, affection and adoration clear on his own face. Fixing some of the hair he'd misplaced with his touches, Aster smiled and dropped his hands down to take hold of just one of Chiwoo's, wanting to continue to reassure him. Even if the other didn't need it, Aster wanted to make sure the other could catch all of his acceptance of the feelings and the actions, even if he wasn't sure how far said feelings went just yet.
"More than okay," he finally corrected, after giving himself a moment to think as well. "Are you okay?"
