The high elf stares long and hard at the pamphlet on the notification board and frowns at it. Starting a conversation with the stranger next to him- making /his/ problems also the problem of the person next to him. "I really question why I chose to do soccer as a class and I keep being side-lined, you know, it feels like a lost class for me but on the other hand I can just scroll through TikTok during matches and I look mighty fine in shorts. What do you think should I stay in the class?"
Akobel stood in front of the notification board – fingers tightly gripping the straps of his backpack straps as he stared at all the papers pinned up in front of him in confusion. He got lost on campus trying to find his next lecture and rather than asking for help, he just stared at the board like a lost puppy as if it were to magically give him directions. He hadn't even noticed someone come up beside him but he was startled when the stranger talked to him – Akobel stared at the other with a confused look for a solid thirty seconds while they continued talked to him.
"Did you just compliment your own ... butt?" was all Akobel offered quizzically while his lips turned into a frown. He doesn't want to keep talking to the other but he's lost and needs help – what was the easiest way to ask someone to show Ako his next class without actually saying it? Compliment them? "I bet you're really good at ... kicking balls? Maybe you should stay with that class," Ako finished lamely before sighing.
"Is the soccer class close to here?" Akobel asked before turning fully towards the other with hopeful eyes. He realized he might be coming off weird or maybe rude; he really needs to tone it down if he wants to get to class. "Sorry, I'm new here. Do you think you can show me where that might be?" Akobel smiles half-heartedly, dimple poking out. It's not where he has to go but it might be close enough.
