WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE ABOUT A PRECIOUS DRAGON QUEEN WHO FOUGHT WITH HER HEART AND SOUL AND TENACITY OF SPIRIT TO BE WHO SHE WAS, PERSEVERE, NURTURE HER LOVING CHILDREN, OUTGROW YEARS OF ABUSE THAT LED TO MANY FEARS AND INSECURITIES, OUTLIVE ALL OF HER “EVIL” ANCESTORS AND GENETICS AND ULTIMATELY TAKE CONTROL OF HER OWN DESTINY AND TRY TO LEGITIMATELY CREATE A BETTER WORLD FOR HERSELF AND OTHERS? WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE ABOUT A CHARACTER WHO WAS NEVER A MERE CHARACTER, A WOMAN WHO EMBODIED BOTH DARKNESS AND LIGHT SO BEAUTIFULLY AND WAS ALWAYS SO IRRESISTIBLY HERSELF, WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE ABOUT A COMPLEX AS FUCK CHARACTER WHO HAD THE NECESSARY PASSION AND NERVE TO ACTUALLY LOOK AT THINGS IN THE FACE, LOOK DESTRUCTION AND FEAR AND EVIL IN THE FACE AND STILL MAINTAIN HER VULNERABILITY AND OPPENNESS TO THE WORLD? WHAT’S NOT TO LIKE ABOUT A FIERCE, MOST EMPOWERING WOMAN WHO HAD AN ACTUAL VISION, ATTEMPTED TO PURSUE THAT VISION AT ALL RISK, WENT THROUGH ALL THIS SHIT BUT ALSO MANAGED TO TURN HER TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES INTO INNER STRENGTH AND DO HER ABSOLUTE BEST TO MAINTAIN HER HUMANITY AND TRANSCEND HER OWN SO-CALLED FATE YET SHE WAS BETRAYED AND CRUSHED BY EVERYONE SHE GENUINELY BELIEVED IN AND THEY TRIED TO PAINT HER AS “MAD” AT THE END WHEN IN ALL REALITY HER OWN BROKENNESS OF HEART LED INTO HER DEMISE AND IRRESPECTIVE OF CRINGEY WRITING SHE STILL SHONE AND BURNED BIGGER AND BRIGHTER THAN MOST CHARACTERS OF THAT SHOW

Adventure Time was just like “here’s s fart joke, here’s a talking piece of candy, here’s an absolutely soul crushing scene where a woman realizes that the man who saved her from starvation and dangerous mutated humans in the aftermath of a brutal global nuclear war no longer remembers her fully or who he used to be because the thing that kept him alive all those years also drove him completely insane and now she finally has to accept that he’ll never truly be the same friend she once knew and decides that even though he does questionable and sometimes dangerous stuff now because of his insanity she’ll still accept him back into her life as he is because he’s still important to her and probably needs a friend now that his mental state has caused him to be alienated by most other people, here’s another fart joke
