As the words she so wished to hear finally escaped through the brunette’s parted lips, she let out a deep yet silent sign as if the heaviness left her body along with it. It was easy to note her anxiety that was eating her inside out–prior to hearing the answer–by one of the blonde’s hands that was tightly pressed to her chest. “Thank you. Let us be on our way then.”
Not wanting to outstay any longer than they needed, they immediately set out towards the nearest city. After all, they needed to pick the pace since the sky has already dyed a purple-ish color, slowly transitioning to crimson. Lunafreya would slow down for a minute or two due to her ankle still having not fully healed yet the pain wasn’t the utmost important thing to consider at the moment. She was certain that in the city she would receive the needed assitance thus as long as the pain is bearable she’ll continue to move on. Finally, they reached what seemed to be a tunnel leading directly to the city they were pursuing.
After exiting the tunnel, bright lights came into view signifying night time. Palm trees that decorated the steets made it seem as if the blonde stepped into a totally different climate zone. The clothing of the locals didn’t go unnoticed as well, nor did their activity as the city was bustling even during the night. There will always be time for sightseeing but for now they needed to accommodate themselves. The hotel that read “Leville” provided the women with everything they needed, including a shower that Lunafreya desperately sought, not to mention it’s been a few hours since they had anything inside their bellies.
Having attended to her needs, the Oracle slowly approached the female, her azure eyes lifting to meet the guard’s brown ones. “I suppose you migth already know about me, but even so I wish to deliver a proper introduction to you. I am Lunafreya of house Fleuret. It was an honor to meet you and be accompanied by you. Can I have the honor of receiving your name as well?” After their journey–if it can even be called like this–has finally come to an end, it’s as if a void opened in her heart. She couldn’t whisk away the thoughts that this might be the last time she’ll see the brunette alas, they had their different paths to walk. At least she will carry her name with her.
“Mm.” With a silent nod, the two agree that they should not waste a moment more and both head on their way to Lestallum. It was a rather grand city from what the brunette had read in her free time back home, so surely finding the right help for Lady Lunafreya would be no trouble at all.
And so the two make their way over to the city. The sun passed slowly overhead and down towards the west, but at least an hour before it completely ducked beneath the horizon they had made it halfway through the tunnel that lead to their destination. They were safe, that much was for certain and both Lunafreya and herself could relax for a spell while they found whatever the Oracle needed.
Lestallum certainly was a busy place, full of culture and friendly faces.
First stop, the Leville. Gemiya stayed by the Oracle’s side and swiftly guided her to the Leville, but it was mostly Gemiya merely accompanying Lunafreya. Perhaps whilst in the eyes of others, she found it better to walk tall to the hotel. After all, there was likely someone around who was bound to notice that the Oracle had made it to Lestallum.
It wasn’t too long before everything was taken care of. The accommodations, services and everything the Lady might need was at her fingertips. It likely wouldn’t be long until the Oracle would set out again on her path to Altissia and the thought saddened Gemiya, if only for a brief moment.
That is until the Lady spoke up.
“Of course my Lady. I am Gemiya Astraeus of... the Leonis, household. I work under Cor Leonis.” It was always slightly awkward introducing herself in such a manner, seeing as the last names never matched. It likely struck confusion to many, but she hoped it wouldn’t be so odd this time around. “It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance Lady Lunafreya. I... suppose you’ll be on your soon enough?”
