Timothy canted his head to the side. He certainly wasn’t above blackmailing his other self into helping him. This would be beneficial for both of them, even if Stray didn’t see that now. He smirked.
“I’m not the sort to joke. You should know that. In yes, I adopted a child. You’ll find that he’s very muck like the both of us.” Damaged but sweet. “I would consider it quite helpful if you did this for me, even giving you a pardon on your past.”
"For something like this, you've gotta be!" He interjected quickly, almost snapping it at the other. Eyes were narrowed still, suddenly feeling trapped. The instinct of fight or flight was currently screaming for flight, but something told him to stay where he was. Maybe it was the fact that he could be tracked down easily. Or maybe he knew that he had an actual chance of being helped this time. There were actually quite a few options. "You think likening him to us is gonna help?" He didn't care what was said. He wasn't good with kids. "Besides! If you give a damn about the brat, shouldn't you want to keep him from someone who is considered, y'know, a "bad guy" ? A criminal?"
Even if all he'd ever done was do what he needed to in order to survive. Even if he was just talking big because he didn't trust, it was what he'd learned to do on the street, and not to mention -- it was far too close to a family. He didn't know what to do with that. He'd never really had one. He closed his eyes tight. Tch. Helpful. Since when had he ever been called something like that? Never. And a pardon on his past? Fine. So what? What was he supposed to do with that? He couldn't even get back to his own life. So how was he supposed to start over here? He had no ties. No interests.
..Maybe that was why he had no reason to say no, either.
Craning his head to the side and down, he cracked his eyes open to return his glare to the ground. He was going to regret this. There was no way he wouldn't. "..Fine."
