Wanderung von Duisburg-Neudorf zum Entenfang Hiking tour from Duisburg Neudorf to Entenfang

Der Frühling steht vor der Tür und es würde uns freuen, wenn die Wanderaktivitäten erneut belebt und vielleicht durch diesen Vorschlag angestoßen werden könnten. Als erste Wanderung würden wir gern die nun schon ca. drei Jahre zurück liegende (erste) Strecke zum Entenfang wiederholen, zumal es seitdem viele Neuzugänge in diesem Portal gegeben hat. So könnte die Wanderung auch die Gelegenheit zum gegenseitigen Kennenlernen bieten, Gleichgesinnte zusammenführen und zu weiteren Aktivitäten anregen. Bei Interesse könnten dann so nach und nach auch die weiteren Wanderungen wiederholt und auch Neues ausprobiert werden. Vorschläge und insbesondere auch Initiativen anderer Gruppenmitglieder sind dabei stets willkommen. Die Wanderung ist ca. 17 km lang. Sie beginnt am Parkplatz an der Kammerstraße 223 (TURA 88) und führt (weitestgehend flach) durch den Duisburger Stadtwald bis zum Entenfang. Dort legen wir am Büdchen eine Pause ein, um dann Richtung Regattabahn und daran entlang zurück zum Ausgangspunkt zu wandern. Als Abschlusseinkehr bietet sich das Seehaus (Biergarten) an der Regattabahn oder auch der „Steinbruch“ an der Lotharstraße an. Wie bisher können zu der Wanderung auch gern Freunde und Bekannte mitgebracht werden (auch Hunde sind auf dieser Strecke kein Problem). Frau/Mann/Hund sollte allerdings in der Lage sein, eine Strecke dieser Länge in moderatem Wandertempo (welches bislang - je nach Gruppengröße und Zusammensetzung - so um die 4,5 Stundenkilometer lag) zu laufen. Die Wanderung findet nur bei trockenem Wetter statt („leicht wechselhaft“ soll aber auch kein Hinderungsgrund sein).

Spring is arriving and it would be nice if we could go hiking again. Besides, it is an opportunity to meet new people and plan further hiking tours together. Proposals for hiking tours are always welcome. This tour is about 17 km. It starts at the parking site of TURA 88 ( Kammerstrasse 223 and leads through Duisburg forest to the lake Entenfang. There we will stop for a short break ( it is also possible to buy something to drink and a small bite ) and then continue our tour along the regatta course and back to Neudorf. After the tour, we could have lunch ( or coffee + cake ) either at Mezzomar at Bertasee or at the pub „Steinbruch“ in Lotharstraße. As always you can bring friends. This tour is also adapted for dogs which are able to walk a tour of 17 km at an average pace of 4,5 km per hour.

In case of heavy rain the tour will be cancelled.
