Though the cafe sheâd chosen had seemed more like a place for socialization than productivity, Bridgette had at least hoped she would be able to get something done seeing as the overall mood of the business was pretty relaxed rather than buzzing and loud. Â It was a hope that was dashed pretty quickly though when one of the customers nearest her started to broadcast their emotions so loudly that she let out a pained gasp at the same time that a dull ache bloomed in her head.
âIf you could tone it down a bit please, that would be very nice.â
âYou can hear it too?â She turned to the girl, her head pounding. Astridâs empathy was picking up on everyone today, making it very hard on her head. The poor girl went as far to negate some of the strangersâ emotions for just one hour. It was nice to see someone (hopefully) with the same issue as Astrid. âYou okay? I have some Advil in my bag if you need it- I mean if your head is hurting, donât want to jump to conclusions.â
