“Not going to lie, that is very strange, but also intriguing. You have my word though, I’ll never try it. Oh yeah, the internet shows proof of that for sure. What possessed you to even do something like that?”

“...Long story short, I had to start locking my desk because of him. The fear of a child choking on one of my tampons will probably always stick with me, you know?” Astrid sighed, her first year of teaching was definitely a wild one, but she loved it nonetheless. “Yep, so,” She paused for a moment, eyeing the other person before she continued. “Enough about me, what’s been going on with you? Anything exciting happening on your end? That top looks new, and super cute on you. ”

“Hi, I just came to pick up some brochures for the school.” Astrid lifted her cardboard box with the schools name displayed on it and shook the contents. “I’ve never been in here before, it’s so clean.”

“It was more then one bottle. I am definitely never doing it again, but we all make mistakes, and hey not dead. Oh it’ll be alright, it was worse earlier”.

“Oh I’m sure I just wondered how you got so much in that giant cup. Not being dead is good, congratulations on your mortality.”

Okay... Did you really have to push that guy like that? Seemed kind of excessive to me.

“Whatever you do, do not fill up a super big gulp cup with 5 hour energy and drink the whole thing. My heart has either stopped completely or is beating so fast that I can’t feel my own pulse”.

“How did you fill it all the way up when it only comes in those little bottles? And it’s just a suggestion, but maybe you might not want to do that ever again? Um, and seeing a doctor might also be a good idea.”

       “IF YOU THINK OF IT, they actually kind of are. They want to beat each other to that specific fry. I think they pretty much live off the shit people throw away.” she pointed to the bird right in the middle of the flock. “That’s Simon”

“This is a daily thing for them, constantly fighting for food. I’d be tired. That’s true and yet their shit still comes out white and liquidy. It makes no sense. Simon is so tiny, but I bet he could kick so much ass. Look at him go!”

You gotta stay informed though, they’re still getting away with a lot of shady stuff. But fine, I’ll save it for another day, you don’t care about me or the whales. It’s good, we’re good.

“Technically just over two months.” But in reality, it was a lot more like three years. Mackenzie nodded a little as the woman spoke, “I know, it’s just… Getting used to everything all over again.”

“You think the town has changed that much in two short months?” Astrid questioned softly, her brows knitting together in confusion. “Did you get sucked into a time warp?” She chuckled. It was a harmless joke but she didn’t know how her companion would feel about it.

Well, lets keep our fingers crossed and hope that they release a taped version. Until then the soundtrack will be just as good.

They’re amazing, I absolutely love all of mine. Illumination.. I like that.

A friend gave me mine and at first I thought it was just a pretty piece to add to my collection, but she explained what it was for and let’s just say it helps a lot. Illumination for when you’re in a dark place, it defends against that.
