Honestly I wish I had a way to get a screen grab but in Vanessa's dream there is a family photo which appears to be her and William with two awkward spaces on either side that suggest she has repressed the memory of her two brothers. We know William was abusive and loved to gaslight his kids, the way he called Vanessa his favorite suggests that he pitted her and Micheal against each other often in their childhood if not explicitly hated him. So why does Micheal want so desperately to keep their father's legacy alive?
We know from the games William has three kids so I think it's more then safe to say that he also had a younger son, making Vanessa the middle child, and that leads us to believe that the youngest son is also canon to the movies. So I think it's safe to say that Micheal killed their youngest sibling or at the very least disabled him permanently (as the phone guys dialogue in the second game states clearly "it's amazing how a human can live without their frontal lobe" in refrance to the bite of 87 but we know now there is both a bite of 87 and a bite of 83 and to my knowledge we don't know which is which)
So could it be that Micheal wants his father's approval because he feels responsible for the path he's on now? Could it be he resents Vanessa for not having anything to strictly tie her to that life and that path? He probably feels angry and guilty that she might have a shot at a normal life, but he can't. He's not allowed. He killed his brother and now he's just as bad as his father who killed those children and continued to abuse his own. Maybe he blames himself for it (if William's killing started only after loosing his youngest son) or like he's just as bad as their father (if he started killing before the death of his youngest son)
This doesn't have a neat and tidy end but my fnaf theory never does, I just find the lore so fun to pick through. I do adore Micheal Afton tho and I want more of him right now immediately cause he's my scrunkly
I think Movie Michael’s story works better if Vanessa was living at the Afton house with them until after William got springlocked.
Imagine losing both your sister and your father in the same day, but your sister is still around she’s just chose THEM over YOU.
She’s betrayed the family and she’s obviously just going through a phase, she needs to be reminded whose child she is, you need to bring her home.
Vanessa hallucinating her dad and Micheal hallucinating his mom. We really in it now.
In Micheal’s defense, if my own sister chose some guy with a bad haircut she’s known for a year and his creepy kid sister who talks to ghosts over me I’d also allow my animatronic friends to go after her.
we deserved a better ending for billy and stu in scream. stu should’ve ran over to billy dying and confess his love for him and then billy says i love you back and then they hold hands until they both bleed out man fuck this movie and fuck sidney
Has someone died for you? 👣📺
