skraxseidr:
âAhah- yeah, I do get a little crazy about those, canât help it really.â Or perhaps she could and just didnât want to. Reading was how she escaped to her own world and gained strength, after all. Still- he looked tired..Â
Not so tired that he couldnât put a little charm into his words. Even she was noticing that he was a natural flirt. if that as how he was, fair enough. sheâd accept it and move on. It made her wonder if he had a trickster side to him as well, in resemblance to the Norse God Loki . (Possibly not and she figured asking would get her some strange looksâŠ)
So, she smiled lightly and winked, shrugging her shoulders. âI appreciate the thought,, but if you donât have much to add to it, then letâs try and talk about something else. Say, what sort of things interest you?â
âHonestly, its great to see. Passion makes a person more beautiful.â As long as that passion was not something warped from what it originally was. But Levy, her passion for books, language, it seemed very pure, very... honest. He wasnât sure if she did it to help translate for others, to be the one to work out the dead languages of the world, or if she did it because she just liked it. But either way, it gave her a glow.
âMe? Iâm no one so interesting.â He laughed, nothing of his exhaustion, nor constant pain, ever seeped into his speech, his laughter, none of that. The only time may have been the tired, exhausted look heâd could get to him. Or how he would avoid the Guild for a few days. With his growing reputation, they just assumed it was one long booty call. And he was fine with that.
âStill searching for that one thing that interests me, honestly.â He had wanted to say the stars. But he couldnât. He didnt deserve it. â...I like cats?â
skraxseidr:
She was boring someone again, wasnât she? It seemed the only members of the Guild who took any interest in her love of books was Jet and Droy (and that was just to compliment and tell her how great she was-)
Still, it made her feel slightly bad, if a little embarrassed, for going on as she was to him. She wanted to be friends, really! It just- was difficult to break through the glass, it seemed. Sighing, she closed the book sheâd been mooning over, vowing to finish translating it later, and tapped her finger om the table.Â
âYou know- you donât have to pretend to be interested, I wont     be insulted, Loke.  I know I can get a little too excited about     booksâŠâ
He sighed, she had noticed. Hand would rub though short hair, so odd to have it so short. So odd not to have his ears there. He had such limited hearing like this too. If he had kept his natural form he woul-- No. Stop thinking about it. That time is done, over.
Loke now. Not Leo.
âItâs not that. I just donât really have that much to add. I can tell youâre really passionate about it though. Its nice to see.â He gave her a smile, charming and flirtatious as ever, at the very least no one had been able to see though it. Yet anyway. âEveryone needs a passion right? Books have a certain level of romance to them. And especially those languages youâre so into.â
@angelic-sorano
No, this wasnât awkward at all. He had hoped never to see this woman's face again. But, if there was one shining part of Lucyâs personality, it was that she was forgiving. Sometimes he would argue she was too forgiving for her own good. This one, right here, she deserved no kindness. He still saw the scars on Aries even today.
It sickened him.
So he spoke not a word, not trusting himself to. Instead orange eyes blazed behind blue as he glared. Heâd do his job, help out, and nothing more. It wasnât the childrens fault they were being saved by one of the worst beginnings on the planet.Â
@skraxseidr
He was trying to be interested, he really was. Levy had always been one of the more friendly members of the guild, especially when he had stumbled in, looking like utter exhausted shit, guided there by Bob. But... he just... couldnât grasp anything she was talking about and his mind had started to drift awhile back.
â...Sounds... great?â
Okay, that's all the drafts so, like this for a starter!
fracturedprincess:
Really, what had she done to deserve a friend (and Spirit) like him? Sure, he was a bit too flirty at times but⊠ignoring the marks on her fingers, she finally allowed him to lead her out of the building, the fresh air needed to clear her head.Â
âAll right- if you say so, but you know- maybe I should summon     you more often for days like thisâŠÂ â
A day when she just needed a distraction out of her own mind- yes, he was doing well and theyâd barely gone out the door.
âI wouldnât say no. Iâve been trying to get you to do this with me for ages now.â He winked, giving her hand a gentle squeeze, never bringing attention to the marts that criss crossed her dainty fingers, or anywhere else on her for that matter. She would talk about it when she wanted. Not when he pushed.
Heâd seen a lot of it in his time.
âWhat are you in the mood for, my Princess? Ask and you shall receive~â As long as she didn't choose anything that was going to break his wallet, he really was running low on jewels lately. Money was not something he needed in the Spirit World, but here, his savings were slowly fading away.
dekiaiohime:
The battle was long over. Despite her sombre demeanor, she had emerged victoriousâŠâŠâŠâŠyet at what cost? Attire was ripped, that mattered not â such was easily replaced, even if it took jewels out of saving. Body was bruised and battered, that mattered little â there were no exceedingly grievous wounds that would snatch her life away. But another had been taken. Or at leastâŠ.,presumed so.
Demeanor dropped from light, airy, and flirtatious as he quickly rushed to her side, falling to his knees, jacket flying from his form as he did so to place around her tattered and bruised body, far too bare. Eyes alert as he looked around, trying to assess the danger they were in, or the danger she might have just been in.
âLucy, whats wrong?â
uxnmei:
Cana flashed him a sly look at his response, smirk still in place none the less. âOh donât worry, weâll go on that mission soon.â That was if they ever got to it. A moment passed and Cana nodded, she was ready. âAnd how exactly does this work?â Perhaps a bit ambiguous but she was referring to the entering of the celestial world. Everything else that was to follow she was sure off, well most things.Â
âIâm sure we will.â He smirked back, it was always so easy to fall into a pattern with her, one that was comfortable and easy. That sort of home feeling that you could only ever feel, and never explain. âThe clothes are Celestial Cloth, they make it so you can exist safely in the Spirit World. As long as you at least have one thing on, youâll be fine.â Hand would extend, waiting for her to take it. âAll we have to do, is go through my Gate.â
absolutexdarkness:
Maybe there had been a day where Freed would have played ignorant to the meaning behind the lionâs words in order to maintain the facade that the girls had won against both Bixlow and himself by nothing more than sheer wit and ingenuity. But now, when so many months - or rather it was years now, wasnât it? - had transpired since the event, it was no longer any real secret that both he and his comrade had intentionally allowed the two to vanquish them in their match.Â
For that reason, he found no harm in explaining the reasoning that drew him to that conclusion regardless of whether or not Loke thought his actions to be necessary.
âPerhaps I did not need to technicallyâŠâ Came his easy agreement, light eyes just moments before absorbed with the words aligning his book flickering up to instead regard the male whom he had felt appear, but had not expected to address him of all people, âBut I owed Cana for my actions throughout the duration of the Battle of Fairy Tail. I was aware of the importance winning brought to her and made it my duty to ensure she progressed in the competition to the best of my abilities. If anyone deserved to emerge victorious and represent Fairy Tail with the title of an S Class Mage, it was her, not I.â
Naturally the rune mage had not thrown the fight to gain forgiveness from either Lucy or Cana for what he and his comrades had put them through during the Fantasia parade, as he was well aware that what he had done - or rather, what he was very nearly going to do to his own comrades - could never be fully forgiven.Â
Instead he had done it in hopes of assisting Cana in achieving a dream she had been working towards for years - a dream that she had every right to see come true.Â
âI suppose I should extend a similar apology to you as well on behalf of Bixlow. While I was not present, I was informed that you were forced to engage him in combat with Lucy during the games. For that, I am truly sorry; our intentions were never to go that far.â
He would slowly slip down into the chair next to his fellow Mage, a glance given to the book that he had been reading, wondering what it was that had gained Freedâs interest for the moment. Part of him wondered, and almost hoped, that during the time that had passed he and Lucy had struck up a friendship. After all, they had a lot of common interests, and she really did need some calmer influences in her life. Just Levy wasnt enough.
âI of course wasnt there, I was with Gray--â Their trail had lead to Mest and Wendy, he actually wondered if everyone had their own contingency plan to deal with the young Dragon Slayer. At the time, none of them would have wanted to go full strength on her. Now though, it was a lot different. She had grown into a very impressive young Mage. â--But I heard about it. I couldnât help but laugh a little.â He maybe felt a little guilty about that. But such a âweaknessâ to pull out of the Shinki Mage was a little amusing.Â
He knew that âSexy Lady Cardâ all too well. There were far too many times she had sprung it on him more times than he could count. Heâd turn, and then, bam, half naked women everywhere. She of course found it funny.Â
âStill, you gave up a lot in the way of that forgiveness.â He had remembered Freedâs words the day the candidates were announced, that heâd be doing it for Laxus, whoâd have thought the events that occurred on that Island would have been, indeed, the ones to bring back the Lighting Slayer to the fold. âIâd be betraying my partner if I said I agreed Cana should have been the one to win though.â Even though he completely agreed.Â
She had struggled for so long. She deserved it.
Hand would wave in a motion at the words on Bixlow, head shaking a little. âItâs no real problem. Nothing got too out of hand, and I really owe him a lot for helping keep my true identity under wraps for as long as I did.â With the Seith Mage able to see souls, he was truly thankful for the fact he kept that Loke was not what he said he was to himself. âYou just wanted to make us stronger, I understand.â
âIt takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.â
Loke: I never brag
Cana: You once called your face the proof of God's existence.

A brow cocked at the somewhat abrupt gesture, however a smile managed to grace her lips. âIâm special?â She teased, before quickly walking off to get changed. What? She needed to leave somethings to imagination, though Loke already knew what he was getting himself into. âWell, at least these clothes look good on.â
âMaybe, or maybe this is just because I still don't have a bed here yet~â He teased. Maybe it was better not to voice things completely. Keep it at a distance. It was much easier that way. It had always been. Chuckling to himself, he would press glasses back up his nose with a finger. âOf course they do, you could make a paper bag look good.â
uxnmei:
ââ Please, lead the way~â A chuckle push through slightly parted lips at the lions mannerisms. Cana had hoped that he would never change. Â
âI did make a promise, did I not. Theres something we need to get you first.â He gave a wink, but kept her hand in his, dragging her to a more private area, best to do that before he disappeared and reappeared, dropping clothing into her arms. âGet changed~â
âI know I seem thirsty as hell, but I dont need you people following me. I get enough âblonde bikini babesâ.â
