Astrology Notes III: Water Signs Edition
Pisces ascendants are so underrated. People really project this notion that they can be very... "in their head" and just not here. While that can ring true for most cases, remember, they have Aries in their 2nd house, Taurus in their 3rd house, Leo in the 6th house, and Capricorn 11th house. I am listing these houses specifically because this can paint the picture that yes, Pisces ascendants can entertain and be what I mentioned earlier, but they also have that natural drive to be successful on their own and independent. That third house allows them to see their goals through AND can spin the situation in their favor because they can see the loopholes from how analytical they are. With Leo and Capricorn in the 6th and 11th houses respectively, they know how to use their charm and wit to network! Bonus points if they have outer planets in these houses as well, because that helps them to really see the bigger picture and hone in on the details/what's important as well. Never underestimate this ascendant sign. We act dumb, but we really know what's going on. As cliche as that is, it works every single time.
Cancer ascendants, can be seen as "intimidating" in my opinion because of their 3rd house in Virgo. They see what's going on but also are not afraid to call people out as well. But having such a thought pattern can also contribute to them being labeled as the "mom friend" because of Virgo's archetype of being of service. With their 10th house being in Aries, people see how much they work and how they often initiate things and take the lead. This can also contribute to the "intimidation" I mentioned earlier. Aquarius in the 8th house can make them more open-minded than one thinks. This can also make them develop a deep detached energy as well. Not to mention that they are also crackheads once you get really comfortable with them. With Gemini in the 12th house, they can often have racing thoughts and whoever that one extremely close friend is, you are their personal soundboard. As a thank you, they make sure to take care of you. With Taurus in their 11th house, they pay very close attention to their friends' preferences. This can also make them the gift giver friend, (if they remember to gift you something).
Scorpio ascendants are very charming naturally. With Libra in the 12th house, they may be unaware of how that flirty energy just emanates from them. Taurus in their 7th house means that their one-on-one relationships must be comfortable to them and provide them some sort of stability. Virgo in the 11th house makes them very picky about who they have their friendships with. Leo in their 10th house can't help but attract people. I noticed that these people either walk with their head up high or they don't at all. With Sagittarius in their second house, they can be very lucky with their finances, as the universe often just blesses them with opportunities to get money, or even just drop some $$$ in their account outta nowhere. Like Pisces ascendants, they have an earth sign in their third house, which is in Capricorn, so they definitely are able to stick to a goal and complete it to a T.
Pisces suns are so chaotic, just like their sister sign. While Virgos hold caution above circumstances, Pisces are more lenient than that. They often just let the universe take them on a whim, unless they have earth placements. They'll be a bit more grounded and...well...chaotic too but more internally chaotic. I notice that these people often go through the day unaware of how they ended up feeling what they feel. It is important to protect yourself from other people's energies and not let anything from them get to you. These people personally remind me of hippies.
Scorpio suns are always interesting to talk to! Even if they seem like they don't have dark humor, if you crack a dark joke, they'll still laugh with you about it. These people are very much in tune with their shadow side as well as the world. They still hold an air of privacy to them which even if they overshare (a rare occurrence), you still don't remember much about them. You'll often find these people go silent when going through something but will definitely emerge as someone completely different. They take privacy to a whole different level.
Cancer suns are, in my opinion, a hit or miss. It depends on the other placements. I noticed that people who have this placement paired with Gemini or Aquarius placements are more often than not, more logical sometimes to the point of their own detriment. Those who have this sun but with Libra placements can be people pleasers, or just may not speak up enough. But when they do, it sends a whole shock wave. Cancer suns with earth placements are also like the suns with air placements, they just remain more stoic which can kind of creep people out.
Pisces moons are more indecisive than Libra moons. They stay stuck in their head and often develop analysis paralysis more than Libra moons. All the latter does is weigh pros and cons and come to a consensus on what is best for them (they can also get caught up in analysis paralysis, but they know how to see the facts better). You ask a Pisces moon, they'll just stare at you as they're zoning out. But their intuition is also on point to the point that it's scary. Never try to betray a Pisces moon, because they can see your bs coming from a mile away. My favorite people to be around.
Scorpio moons are very very intriguing. Their intuition is also spot on because they have a natural eye for recognizing patterns that encourage harm and division. Despite being a water sign, they're very logical as well. Emphasis if it's at 22 degrees. Or 20 degrees, or even 8 degrees. Like their solar counterparts, these people are comfortable with their shadow side and they often have immaculate dark humor. ( I am saying immaculate because I often find their darker humor hilarious). People often see this placement as very flighty as well but that's because the energy wasn't matching with the words or the actions. I also find it interesting that they can get grumpy because of how fast their battery drains. So if you wonder why Scorpio moons are the way they are, that's one plausible reason. Another reason could be, as cliche as it sounds, their mother had a comfortable time showing them the darker side so they know how to operate from that, which isn't necessarily the norm for the rest of us, so it can spook people who aren't used to that side.
Cancer moons are really the epitome of a mom friend. Why do I also feel like this placement gets a little butt hurt if their friends reject something that they offer? Like I had a friend who has an 8th house cancer moon, and she offered me some lip balm but I didn’t take it because it was flavored and I would have ended up licking it off of my lips (so basically eating it😭) and she was like “FINE😝🙃.” Something told me she was offended or whatever even though she said that in a jokingly manner. (this is just my experience, it will not be like that for EVERY cancer moon). But these people will tell you how they feel straight up, front and center. But they can also use their emotions to get people to do a certain thing for them. They’re so in tune with their emotions and because of that, they’ll strongly express that feeling which can offset people who aren’t into strong expression like that. But on the bright side, they’re such amazing people because they genuinely know how to nurture their significant others. I love that for them! They’ll understand people but they do have that Capricorn opposition (their sister sign basically), so they can be stoic and withholding at times as well, like a Capricorn moon.
Scorpio Mercuries are veryyy interesting. From my experience, they will ask questions. They have this natural interrogation to them, and they’re proud about it. That’s one placement that will truly get to the bottom of things no doubt. I love the sound of their voice (it conjuncts my Venus), and they really make me question things and ponder. When they ask question on top of question, it really forces me to think and be more mindful of what I say and how I say it as well (which is a nice reminder so i appreciate y’all for that—unless you met the ones that also have a crazy mouth then hey double the trouble). The intuitive logic these people possess is immaculate. Good luck lying to them.
Pisces mercuries are so interesting. Like Scorpio mercuries, they also have a strong intuitive logic. Somehow, someway, you can guess the answer right on everything. Even if you don’t know the subject at all, your response(s), are somewhat aligned with the actual response. I bet y’all didn’t even have to study. Despite being a mutable mercury, they can be quite stubborn too. This can be emphasized with placements/aspects that are usually stubborn in nature (i.e. Mercury Square Pluto). It can be easy to become fixated on one or a couple of things. I love how this placement knows how to play dumb NATURALLY. Like they’ll zone out, but not before they happen to catch your double-standard having self🤨🙄. They will look at you like 😐🤨 then proceed to zone out to get away from the bs😀. It’s like the universe is holding a carrot in front of their faces and these people are trying to reach it but they keep running and while doing so, they get distracted and learn and adapt to a lot of things.
Cancer Mercuries, are interesting. The phrase I most often hear from them is “do you want me to be a listening ear or do you want solutions?” I only had one in my whole life so I don’t know really how they function. But based off of what I saw, these people are often playfully dramatic. Like they’ll throw mini-temper tantrums. They also often voice their emotions as well. Like they will talk from an emotional perspective, but can be quite logical as well. Not afraid to call people out on their bs either. They may have a bit of a tendency to dominate conversations. Cancer is a CARDINAL sign after all.
Pisces Venuses….I find them interesting personally due to their Venus being in my first house. As someone who values my privacy and whatnot, I am slightly taken aback by how freely they express their love but i truly love that for them🫶🏾😭. They’re so soft and if they have earth placements they may seem like a hard bby but we all know you are softies on the inside. But I have also noticed how y’all can really take the person you like for granted at times…just a reminder to be thankful for those around you🫶🏾!
Cancer Venuses… are very much the epitome of home. If they love you, they will truly treat you like you’re one of their children. The Cancer venus natives I know, i’ll never forget how they fed me. They know food is my go to comfort haha. They will literally remember your favorite thing and make sure you have it. However, I also notice that these natives can also hold a grudge a bit more than most, and can sometimes use that playfully or be dramatic about it (not saying all but the moon placement/aspects matter too). They love very hard.
Scorpio Venuses…They are interesting and dare I say frustrate me, who is also one.🤣 Oftentimes they’ll really prefer to have situationships and keep it sexual at least. Last time I interacted with one, I *almost* fell for it. They really have a way of acting like they’re interested until they get post-nut clarity (I have met 5 of them 1 is a sag venus but scorpio in sidereal). Also from having been in “competition” with another Scorpio Venus female, I am still surprised at how…primal we are when it comes to stuff like this. As of who we want is territorial. Definitely spices life up I’ll tell you that😭
Cancer Mars…I notice that they have a bit of a baby face? They will be the type to throw temper tantrums or really just let it be known when they’re mad. But they are also very passionate. Whoever they care for should be lucky because these people are naturally like a caregiver. I also like to think that water Mars in general has their intuition amplified so you definitely can’t get past one. Epitome of mother.
Scorpio Mars...I heard someone call this placement the "assassins of the zodiac." That I see. These people are the type of people that will literally hold a grudge against you and you would not know it. What people don't understand is that "energy doesn't lie, people do." This is like the official motto for this placement. I wonder, do y'all also get a weird feeling when you walk past a random person that wreaks of negative energy? Like your heart skips a beat or your stomach drops? They're very in tune with their inner compass, honestly more than most placements. The anger they possess isn't even anger. It's like a twinge of rage that fills the whole body for a split second. The way these people are calculated makes me think of Joe Goldberg's dialogue in the show You. The way his thoughts are just sorting everything out and zooming in on every detail. Carefully planning outcomes while still managing to maintain exact control in the current moment. Truly remarkable.
Pisces mars...These people are soft souls. Even if they don't show it, they're the emotional type. Rather than be direct with their anger, they would rather remove themselves from the situation and spend some time alone to help them alchemize the pain from the anger. One great way they do this is by spending time in nature, maybe around water. The sister sign being an earth sign, they have a really special connection with Mother Nature and being grounded is a gift they naturally cherish. I have two friends with this placement: one loves being in nature, so we found a place right where the planes fly right over us. The other one enjoys being by the water. We'll be meeting soon down at the Harbor. Like Scorpio placements, they're in tune with themselves via the physical world around them. These natives exude such a calming energy and can definitely leave an impression on people (I am biased here because this falls in my first house. Truly enamored).
Alright, I hope you enjoyed this part of the series. I really enjoy creating content like this. Although it's fun, I desire to do more research and take it up a notch. I would like to be more integrative with everything I know like other content creators.
