Binary Bard should have the elegant, hand-written cursive font for every of his quotes, with the capital letters being a heavily decorated Medieval fontstyle, just to mess with the other villains' heads who try understanding what the hell is this British greasy old man talking about.

Our Discovery Island, also known as Poptropica English, has just been removed from Google Play and this is a very dire situation.

A Poptropica spin-off game that was created by Pearson Inc. in 2016 was on the Google App Store for 8 years until it was now removed for unknown reasons. The game app still remains in the Apple App Store, however, we currently do not know if or when it will also be removed.

There is very little information about Our Discovery Island on internet, gameplay and walkthrough videos are limited and have poor resolution, and the only source to play the app is by downloading it from the Apple App Store. This is pretty alarming as there are no archives of the app in Internet Archive and if it gets removed from the Apple App Store, then this can potentially be a lost media.

If anyone knows how to extract data and files from Our Discovery Island app, please let me know and if you can, please upload the game file to the Internet Archive, not only to prevent it from getting lost, but also preserve it as part of Poptropica history. With Poptropica will get shut down for God-knows-when, it's only a matter of time until Our Discovery Island is next.

I saw a comic edit of Oliver and Jorge smoking a blunt on Twitter, with a caption "What is Poptropica even about", and I have to agree.

Realistically, Poptropica could just be one giant drug trip that everyone would forget about after they got sober, or they would assume it was all a fever dream. Nothing in Poptropica would make any sense at all.

Hearing the news of Poptropica's shutdown is saddening, but hey, at least now I can write Clockwork Mayhem as "unofficial sequel of Poptropica graphic novel series". Though there'll be less lighthearted tone and more of supernatural and psychological horror.

If Mystery of The Map took place in 2016, wouldn't that make the trio adults in 2024? Mitch Krpata stated that Mya is 12, while Oliver and Jorge are around 10. So that'd make Mya 20, Oliver and Jorge 18.

Now imagine Mystery of The Map sequel but the trio are now adults and adventures into Poptropica once again. Only time will tell...

My AU ver of Merlin from Astro-Knights and the giant crow/raven machine from Monster Carnival that Binary Bard recovered it and turned into an AI corvus-robot; he named it "Crowley". Both of them are adults and they work as Director D's butlers, with Merlin being the chef and housekeeper while Crowley is their assistant.
