Everybody who believes astrology is false or not real knows very little about it. I remember Bill Nye “disproving” astrology and getting even the most basic stuff wrong, like the definition of the zodiac - he didnt even know its 30º sections of the ecliptic, not the actual constellations. Or Alan Watts who talked about how not everybody with the same sign will have the same experiences and thereby looking only at the sun sign, a tiny part of a complex and very individual birth chart. So many astrologers are former sceptics. So many astrologers are respected people from academia, like psychologers and even astrophysisicts. The most amazing thing is when people set out to disprove astrology and while they are studying it intensely realize how true it is. I don’t think anybody who seriously studied astrology would deny its accuracy. It’s certainly not a science. It’s an archetypal language. The patterns of the universe. It cannot be scientifically proven nor is it a blind faith. After studying it you just intuitively know that it is real because you are suddenly given the letters to an alphabet that was always in your unconscious mind. The alphabet that makes up the collective unconscious that everybody can relate to.

I think it’s also interesting to note that the bible also talks about it. Paraphrasing, it essentially says “Yea astrology has meaning, but don’t let it dictate your every action” 

Which is pretty much common sense I would think. You have intrinsic characteristics that make you an wholly unique existence, and those things may influence you, but ultimately you’re the one who makes the final choice.

yeah i think a lot of people dont like astrology because they think it denies free will but it doesnt. it actually helps you become free because the more conscious you are of the potentials your born with (personality and life), the more you can direct it consciously and change!

My brother and I are both Gemini's, but we get along terribly! At least when I lived with him we did- now that he's moved out, we can interact together without being at each other's throats, he's a Cap moon, and I'm a Scorpio moon. Thoughts?

Both of those are intense moons in opposite ways, and Gemini, being the gorgeous kaleidoscope, it’ll really color your world. Capricorn moons don’t like admitting to their feelings- It’s a work-hard, dont-stop feelings. They see their emotions as a weakness, never really understanding, thus sometimes projecting that on others. Scorpio moons are emotional gardeners, it comes naturally to them. Emotions come in all shapes and sizes 24/7, while still keeping a low profile. Both moons are secretive, the big trip up in communication. It’d be completely normal to be at each other’s throat all the time, yeah! And now that he’s out of the house, I think that leaves a breath of relief on his part that he can be in his own place of solitude. Dealing with emotions would be a challenge for him, and now he doesn’t have to be ashamed or hide them as much as he would if he had to share a grounding space with others. (This is important for both Gemini placements and Capricorn placements! I can’t say all, but many Gemini’s in my life and insecure about their thoughts, and need something personal to ground them.) It’s probably hard to understand each other when both moons are caught up in their opinion.

So for the longest time I felt I didn't fully relate to my sun sign, and always related to Scorpio posts (im an air sign) and I didn't understand until I checked my natal chart and found out that my moon sign is scorpio! It kind of blew my mind.

Good for you! That’s the wonderful thing about astrology, you never stop learning! It’s important that you use it to help or understand yourself the best you can! Good job~

It is BY FAR the best out of any place I’ve seen! Don’t go on Amazon, don’t go on Etsy.  Those sites are grossly over priced.  I see a lot of people trying to sell stuff for WAY MORE than it’s worth and it really makes me mad.  

I mean, $2.50 for an ounce of Lavender flowers from France! 

OR go to Mountain Rose Herbs. You can save $1.00 by buying lavender there.  (They sell it for $9.00 for 4oz.)  They’re prices for herbs are great, too! 

Spirit Apothecary has better prices for essential oils though- for example: Bergamot Essential Oil is $8.00 @ S.A. for 1/3 oz.  it costs $16.50 @ M.R.H. for ½ oz.  That’s over twice the price, but you don’t get twice as much, so I get all essential Oils at S.A.

MRH doesn’t sell, crystals, but SA does.  They are good quality and by far the most inexpensive.  Also they both have a facebook page.

If you really want to buy herbs, oils, and crystals, but think you can’t afford them, PLEASE, PLEASE check these sites out!!

6- Top three signs you’d bring to a party?Tbh- Libra (Gets me ready and is just a great social mate) Taurus (Understants that I don’t like parties, will probably sit at the bar with me and drive home if we gotta) and Cancer (I know they won’t leave me unexpectedly for someone else without a heads up)

7- Top 3 signs you’d date?In a fantasy world, I’d try a little of each, but I’m way too attached to go through with. But Top 3 are- Taurus, Pisces, and Scorpio (I’m biased because I’ve got a scorp baby~)

8- Top three signs you’d probably never date?Aquarius. Not that they’re horrible people, and should one come along that changes that, ok! But for now, our morals don’t line up. Libra. They’re rad, but I’d be in fear of judgement and someone could steal them. Most Libras I know don’t really let me feel, they try to reason or gove advice. Which is sweet! But that’s not what I need in a relationship. And maybe another Cancer. They’re amazing love bugs, but they hide the things that eat them out. I need communication.

2- Favorite Sun/moon/rising combo?Hmm, I’m not sure! It depends on the situation for me, as most everything is. For a general “hot damn that’s rad” combo, for me would be: Water Sun, Earth or Air Moon, Earth Rising!

11- Favorite planet or House?Planets? #1 Astrology-wise Would have to be Mercury. Maybe I’m biased because I’m a Mainly-Mercury ruled gal, but there really is no end to Mercury! Mystic, active, a real catch! But #1 Physical-wise The Moon for sure. J’adore~As far as houses go, I’m constantly intrigued by every house, every placement. But the 3 Mystic Houses (4th, 8th, & 12th) catch my attention the most!

20- Dream Squad Signs?Hmm, probably a jumble of Fire and Water signs, with a few Earthy babes. Fire signs are fun, but have hurt me the most in the past. Still, I dare to play with it a little more. Humans, we never learn. I never want to stop feeling either, they’ll stir me up. Water and Earth signs are often people I either adore and want to be friends with, or don’t notice at first and click with eventually!
