My Story: I think around three years ago, tumblr made me watch the short movie Eu Não Quero Voltar Sozinho and I soon found out that they were going to make a full lenght movie of this.

Story: Leonardo has been blind for his whole life, so everyone around him treated him differently, especially his parents. While they are overprotecting, people like Fabio and Ghilherme try to use his blindness for theri own amusement.

So he wants to leave. He wants to get out of this place he lives in. He’s thinking about participating in an exchange programme to America.

While his best friend Giovana is happy for him, she can’t help but feeling sad about him leaving without thinking about her.

Then, a new student appears. Gabriel changes all the plans Leo made. Gabriel isn’t like the other people who treat him differently, because he sometimes forgets Leo is blind (“Can I use your eraser?” Have you seen this cat video?“ “Want to go to the movies?”) and Leo likes it.

Giovana and also fellow classmate Karina instantly fall for him and after a while, Leo starts to understand why.

Rating (from 1 to 10): 9

Why?: THIS MOVIE. OH MY GOD THIS MOVIE.

If you thought the short was adorable, then go watch this immediately. This movie is one of my favourites. I even chose to write a review about this for an assigment at school.
