     She’s prone to get too into her head at times. Overthinking. Over-analyzing. This doubt and faltering confidence presenting itself at the mention of four years. Has it really been four years? How long until they all leave? Until she bails?    Don’t get her wrong - she’s grateful and happy as can be, but...for how much longer? Speaking from experience, this bliss never lasts. It’ll start to unravel at some point or another....right? For once, she’d at least like to be prepared for it.

   --but....it isn’t easy, is it? To prepare. She can’t protect herself from something that isn’t guaranteed. From, what she reminds herself, is not likely to happen. At least, not soon. 

   “Four years -- four years is a lot isn’t it? I didn’t think I’d make it this far. I didn’t think...I didn’t think you’d make it this far.” That last part she whispers.

   In true Kian fashion, he’s as comforting and caring as ever.  ‘ hey, now... i'm not going anywhere. i'm gonna stay right here. right with you.’    Right with her. “I wouldn’t want it any other way,” she smiles. “Hey, remember what you asked me after we started dating? You asked: Where do you see us in five years? Well, it hasn’t been five years exactly but...my answer still stands.”    “I love you, Kian.”           || @poppicede
