They were pushed down seemingly endless hallways, the two of them both scanning for ways to get back outside to their family. "Anything?" Wade muttered out the corner of his mouth. MacKenzie shook her head, contemplating how long it would take the other four guys to draw their guns if she tackled one to get the shield back. One glance at Wade said that he was thinking the same thing. Once he finally looked away from his swords, she winked at him. They both flew forward, knocking the two men to the ground and reclaiming their weapons. Wade had jumped up and taken out the other two before MacKenzie even turned around, "Don't worry, you'll get there." Wade teased, watching her sigh, "You couldn't even wait until I turned around?" "When there are bad guys around, I kill them and I kill them fast..." Wade was staring at MacKenzie's left arm, his eyes widening. She glanced down at it. Her sleeve was rolled up, tally marks covering what of her arm was exposed. She glanced back up at Wade, "We need to get out of here." She said, pulling him with her. Wade froze, "Why?" He asked. " Because you've got them too." They both ran, continuously checking each other for marks. Combined, they had seen almost 60 of them. "There's a door at the end of the hallway." Wade said, the tally marks spreading over his hands. "We're going togo through it and hopefully find someone we like." MacKenzie said, glancing over her shoulder. Wade stopped, "Whoa there, we're gonna go in the room?" "Yeah, why not?" "I can think of about 60 reasons why not right now and all of them are all over our arms. What if they're chasing us here?" "Then there's a good chance whoever is responsible is behind that door." MacKenzie watched Wade's face light up, realizing what that meant. It meant they were behind that door. It meant Peter was behind that door, "Okay then, let's do this shit." He pushed open the door and walked in first, MacKenzie following close behind. "Well, well, well...It looks like we have guests. Jim, come out here and look at this." The man who had spoken was sitting on what appeared to be a throne, staring down upon them with a huge smile on his face. MacKenzie's eyes widened as she realized who he was. It was the Master and he had just called upon Jim Moriarty himself. The Master was smirking as Moriarty joined him, staring down at the two of them. "What brings you two here? Most normal people think it's abandoned." The Master was staring intently at MacKenzie, as if trying to remember where he had seen her. "We're here for our family." MacKenzie said. The Master's face lit up as he heard her speak, "So the Doctor's new companion is a hero." He said. "I'm not the hero here." MacKenzie said, glancing towards Wade. Moriarty recognized her too, "You're one of Sherlock's bratty nieces, aren't you?" He asked. MacKenzie nodded and took a step forward, Wade following, "We wanna know what you've done with them. If you give them back to us now, it won't hurt you as much." Wade said, drawing one of his swords. "I don't think you're really in a position To tell us what to do." Moriarty said, pulling a gun and aiming it at Wade. MacKenzie stepped next to him, ready to block him if needed. "Look at your arms. You're surrounded. Just give up." The Master said, crossing his arms in front of him. "I think you're the one who's surrounded, pal," Glori said, appearing next to Moriarty, her own gun against his temple, "Put the gun down or i'll shoot." Moriarty dropped the gun and raised his hands, smirking as the rest of the sisters dropped in. Harlee stood on the other side of the Master, bow drawn back, Hannah on her other side, not quite green yet. Haleigh flew up to MacKenzie and Wade,"You two okay?" She asked, looking both of them over as they nodded, "Lexi is bringing her team in now. They'll be here in fifteen." Harlee said, her eyes trained on both the villains. "Okay, so lets start simple. Where is our family?" Haleigh asked. The two villains glanced at each other, "Here. Somewhere." Moriarty said. No one could stop Hannah before she pinned him against a wall, the green seeping into her skin, "I'm advising you to tell us. I promised her she could smash the man who took them." MacKenzie said, pacing around the room. "You're getting colder...If you were wondering." The Master said. MacKenzie spun around, her grip on her father's shield tightening, "What have you done to them?!" She screamed. "We needed to get them out of the way. You see, I own many of New York's finest villains. I am tired of them losing! I need them to start winning so I can finally take New York...Something I've been trying to do since before you were born." "What do you mean you own the villains?" "Bullseye, Red Skull, the Green Goblin...I own them all! They do as I say...And right now they're attacking Manhattan." "What do the Silence have to do with all of this?" MacKenzie asked, standing next to Hannah. Neither one of them answered. Lexi and the team walked in after that. They took both of them, walking them down the hallway, "If I were you, I'd start checking rooms. They don't have much longer." They all ran, opening every door. This one's locked!" Wade yelled, pulling at a door at the end of the hallway. "That one has to be it then!" Hannah yelled. She ran up to it and kicked it, her hulk like strength still in tact. Inside were little suspended tubes, each one of our family members inside, "Suspended animation," Haleigh mutters, "He's practically frozen them." "We need to get them out of there!" Harlee yelled, "He said they didn't have much longer." Wade waltzed around the room, standing in front of the tube containing Peter. He circled it twice before pushing a button, the tubing disappearing. Peter fell out into Wade's arms. Wade held him close, mumbling things inaudible to every one else. "There's a button on the back. Get them out of there." Wade whispered. Lexi ran into the hallway, "I need a medic and a ton of blankets quick!" She yelled. She ran to the tube holding her mother and pushed the button, catching her as she fell out, "Lexi...Honey..." Natasha mumbled softly. Harlee ran next to her, pushing the button the same time Hannah pushed hers. The girls held their fathers, wrapping blankets around them as they were given. MacKenzie pushed her fathers button, catching him as he fell, "You okay, Dad?" She asked him softly, rubbing her hands on his arms to warm him up, " I thought the ice was bad..." He chattered, leaning into his daughter. Across the way, Haleigh was holding her father, the two brilliant scientists holding onto each other for dear life. Tony and Haleigh slid closer to Steve and MacKenzie, grabbing hold of each other and just holding on. It was then MacKenzie remembered her father wasn't the only person missing. The SHIELD agents were opening Danny and Luke's tubes. MacKenzie squeezed past them and pushed the last button. Matt Murdock fell out and into the warm, familiar arms of his best friend, "Matty, are you okay?" She mumbled, wrapping the blanket around him. He stayed close to her, as if attempting to absorb her body heat, "I'm so cold, kid...What'd they do to us?" "They put you on ice to get you or of the way. Its okay, though...we've got you." She said. MacKenzie helped Matt up and sat down with him back next to her father, "You guys did fantastic." Tony said, some color returning to his face. "Maybe you should keep wearing my suit ." Steve said to his daughter. She chuckled, leaning against his shoulder, "Only if you wear yours with me." She mumbled. Matt laughed, cuddling closer to MacKenzie, "The Captain and Princess America team. They could call you the star spangled duo." He whispered. MacKenzie and her father exchanged a look, smiling. "Alright. I think a celebration is in order. Let's all go get some Victory chimichangas...I'm buying...And by that, I mean Tony is buying." Wade said loudly, causing every one to bust out laughing. The family was together once again and that was something for everyone to celebrate.
