The tangle of hands regards you uncertainly. Fingers tense and twitch, nails grasping and tapping at every available surface in an attempt to warn you away. You can tell that it is afraid.

From somewhere within the legion of digits, a large pair of arms emerges. The right hand peers at you with an inhumanly blue eye from between its fused thumb and forefinger, while the left hand grins cheerfully with the toothy mouth in it's palm.

"You ain't gonna attack us, ja?" it asks. "I'll warn you... I bite!"

Fell down into a Look Outside hyperfixation recently so I made myself a fan character :0

Notes about them under the cut -

This is Hadrian, a superstitious individual who looked to the sky in a desperate bid for salvation when the first infected crossed their path. Their prayers were answered with a glimpse of the Visitor, causing an explosion of hands to rapidly grow out of and cover their form, holding the terrified witness in immeasurable palms like one might hold a small, frightened animal.

The terror of the ordeal would have made them lose their mind, were it not for the voice of their Left Hand speaking words of encouragement to them, calming them enough to stabilize their condition. Hadrian no longer has a voice themself, so Left Hand is their elected spokesperson - taking it upon itself to convey their shared comments and concerns with a well-meaning cheerfulness in spite of the situation.

In a slip of the tongue, Left Hand introduces them as 'Handrian' and unfortunately for them... the name sticks.

Hadrian and Left Hand are scavengers, trading junk and trinkets for information on the whereabouts of a loved one that they were separated from. Despite their odds, they're hopeful they'll be able to locate them in the wreckage of this new and terrifying world

✨PIXELTOBER 2025✨

My attempt at a -tober this year, the initial plan was to do a pixel a day with my own ocs and maybe if anyone was interested in nabbing a slot, I'd do their oc too!

I ended up with WAY more interest than I expected to, and as a result none of the characters depicted here are mine! It turned out to be a highly successful endeavor that I'd love to do again some other month!
