Select the download tab in the app. Choose your genre and use the download button to get downloadable songs. After the download process is completed you can play the songs offline. Downloaded songs will also appear on the Offline tab.
Please note that the app is free and provides licensed music. This way not all the songs can be downloaded. But you have the peace of mind knowing the content on your device is legal. YouTube doesn't allow download, and we follow it. However you can download over a million high-quality MP3 songs from new & independent artists from all over the world! New songs are being added too.
The music content which is available for downloading is licensed and legal. You can download it without any problems and have peace of mind - all the content on your device will be legal. Please note that the app provides downloading and streaming for non-commercial use only.
Why I cannot download what I want?
This app is free and provides licensed music. Not all the songs can be downloaded, but you can have peace of mind - all the content on your device will be legal. YouTube doesn't allow downloading, and we follow the rules. But there are over a million songs to download. We add new ones too. Use the download tab in the app.
Download songs located on the download tab. They will be available offlineYou can use your existing offline songs library which is created out of songs which locate on your SD Card. These songs can be found on the offline tab of the app.Regarding offline playback of YouTube tracks: the app doesn't support offline playback or download videos as these features violate YouTube Terms of Service. From another point when using online mode, you save your disk space and can listen to any music instantly for free. To save your data you can also disable HD mode.Soundcloud songs and Radio stations also cannot be played offline (however you can play both when the screen is off).
How to play when my screen is off?
Ways to get background playback when a phone is off/locked:1 SoundCloud mode: is active by default and you can turn it on/off using the button on the main page.2 Offline tab: local music from your SD Card3 Radio tab4 YouTube music cannot play without video / when a phone is off. Fix: use the internal lock screen, tap the lock icon.
How to play in background?
Background playback works for SoundCloud music, local songs and radio stations. Regarding YouTube tracks: YouTube rules prohibit background playback, but you can have the workaround with the help of the popup screen or player lock mode (use the lock icon in the player view).
How can I get my YouTube playlist offline?
Although from a technical perspective it's an easy task, currently that's not possible since YouTube Terms prohibit that. To workaround use your local playlists. You can create them from your local music or download using AT Player. Moreover, you can combine your online and offline songs in one playlist. In this case AT Player will play the complete playlist when you are online and only local part if you are offline. That might be a good workaround for your situation.
We need ads to keep the app free. We are trying our best to put ads frequency at a minimum. You can see YouTube ads in videos sometimes. YouTube does not allow disabling those ads. Beware that sometimes you can see ads from other apps which run in the background. Pls double check your other apps too!
What it does that YouTube doesn't?
The app provides a solid music player experience. Major features which it has in addition to YouTube:
* Free multitasking (background playback
* Internet radio stations support (90k+ radiostations)
* Auto matching of radio songs to YouTube songs (you can store them to playlists, etc)
* Local music files support
* Smart recommendations for all: YouTube, SoundCloud Radio, Local. And you can any type of songs in any of your playlists.
* Playlist content reordering
* Bookmarks with full playlist context retrieval
* Restore playlists from auto-backup
* Better optimized for slow devices and connections
While YouTube is more oriented to the general video playback experience our app is music-centric. It was created as a music player from the beginning and has a lot of different options here and there providing this way a solid music player experience.
Why it spends battery a lot?
Use app modes with very low power consumption and screen-off support: SoundCloud mode, local music, and radio. And YouTube requires to display video all the time. It spends battery. For YT tracks tap the lock icon to use the lock screen with the decreased brightness. Turn off HD mode. Make sure that you don't have some other apps/optimizers active.
Cannot import YouTube playlists!
* Make sure you synchronize your accounts (system settings)
* It could be a Google Services bug: Go to settings > accounts > Google > your email address? (check if there are no warnings)
* Which playlists do you have in your YouTube account created or saved? YouTube allows importing only created once (please contact us for work-around)
* Make sure your account has playlists on YouTubeplease contact us if these steps will not work
