One of the most important principles is acknowledging the Lordship (ruboobiyah) of Allah. The one who realises that He is the Creator, Provider and Controller of all things will reach the conclusion that He is the only One Who is to be worshipped, and worship should be directed only to Him.

CHAPTER. One’s invocation is granted (or accepted or responded to) by Allāh if one does not show impatience. - باب يستجاب للعبد ما لم يعجل

٦٣٤٠ - حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف: أخبرنا مالك، عن ابن شهاب، عن أبي عبيد مولى ابن أزهر، عن أبي هريرة أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((يستجاب لأحدكم ما لم يعجل، يقول: دعوت فلم يستجاب لي)).

6340. Narrated Abū Hurairah رضي الله عنه: Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “The invocation of anyone of you is granted (or accepted or responded to by Allāh) if he does not show impatience (by saying, ‘I invoked Allāh but my request has not been granted’).”

If you find someone in need, and you find him stressed, or you know that he has been afflicted with a calamity, then go visit him with the intention of speaking to him until you can bring happiness to his heart. If you do this, you are performing a great act of worship. This is from the greatest acts of worship, even if you speak to him about worldly matters. If you go to him and bring happiness to his heart by speaking to him about the worldly matters you see in your land and the interesting things you see, and things that will make him happy, then you are doing one of the most beloved acts of worship to Allāh the Exalted.

Allah (the Most High) may bless the children with being upright upon the religion of Allah and not their parents. There are many examples of this in our times, so instead of the father or mother being a righteous example for the daughter, we find that Allah provides the daughter with love of religiosity and uprightness, except that she finds many obstacles in front of her - the biggest of them being the parents; specifically in some of the westernized societies that have been affected by western civilization, and what kind of civilization this is?!

Many of the daughters complaining of their parents’ bad interaction with them, because she wears the legislated hijab, or abides by the worship of her Lord and obeying Him. Thus, she abandons many of the impermissible things such as free-mixing, music, impermissible travel, impermissible gatherings, and other things besides that.
