Random headcanon time!

Kou’s eyesight is so strong and has such a long range of action he had to be around 10 years training it so he could reduce the range and blur the rest of the scenario. It’s practically impossible to get him with his guard down, and this became a myth in the school he teaches: 

“Legends say that if you manage to take Principal Miyamoto with his guard down you’ll graduate immediately” 

Which isn’t a lie, though. If there was some exorcist able to trespass his eyesight, he’d let the youngster go to the Black Order immediately.
