LET ME TELL YOU GUYS WHY THIS IS SO FUCKING TRUE!

Every story I’ve ever written one way or another I’ve revealed the content of it, but most, if not all of them are not done. However recently I started writing without telling anyone about them…every single one whether its one shot or several chapters are now completed. And I’ll have you guys know that I just found this quote, but I figured this out days ago by testing it out. I began a story that I was on a roll with; wanting to test the theory I told my sister about it….I ended up deleting the story because I could no longer write it. Its like the excitement you have for it to literally shake someones core from how good it is dies when you tell them the best parts of it or even just a summary.

I mean it may just be me but if you want to write a story DO NOT tell anyone. Literally just write.

Fanfic writers are the unsung heroes of the Internet

It always amazes me on how much effort and time fanfic writers will put into a story or even just a chapter. Just imagine writing an AU on something they know nothing about so they have to research the history of a different country, look up the rules and point system of a sport they have never played, or study and learn a subject they don’t know much about just because they wrote about a character who is good at marine biology or something.

It is amazing the amount of time and care that is put into writing each chapter just so other people can read their work for free. Fanfic authors don’t expect the readers to pay them for their work, all they would like is a comment and a like on their chapters to tell them that the reader likes their writing and story.

I wanted to write this as an appreciation post to all the amazing fanfic authors out there because without them people wouldn’t have countless hours of free entertainment.

As a fanfic writer, this made me so happy, and it's so accurate too. I do hours of researches just to write a little chapter. Even if I know people may not notice the small details but I always try to get everything as accurate as possible! Writing fanfics is such a hard work but just one comment is enough to make me think that it's worth it.
