“I wouldn’t call myself a stalker.” Mason replied. “It’s not like I’m following you around. I just happen to keep running into you. It’s purely coincidental.” And it was, he hadn’t been stalking her at all. It just seemed he was always in the right place at the wrong time. “No. No. No. You’re name isn’t Sarah. You keep telling me that, but I know you’re lying.” Mason hadn’t planned on revealing that information tonight. He was going to drag it out a little longer, hoping to use it against her later, but the alcohol seemed to be doing most of the talking. “Well, then what kind of girl are you?”
Nova felt herself freeze up a little, but she wasn’t going to admit to anything. It wasn’t any of his business. It wasn’t anyone’s business. “My name is Sarah. You’re just a drunk looking for a story where there isn’t one. Sorry I couldn’t be as interesting as you want me to be.” She grabbed her drink, and looked back at him. “The kind that’s done with this conversation.”
