So theres this guy from Broken Bells who has a side project called The Shins?? IDK, pretty good, maybe the best 1:36 length song of all time? You be the judge.
I'd rather be in outer space 🛸

FKJ and June Marieezy. Its another one, what can I say. FKJ in the Redbull Amsterdam studios and Junes sweet jazzy vocals come together like the finest elixir for what ails you.
Alien Boy by Oliver Tree. My more recent reconnection with God makes me see and hear things differently. Oliver mocks Jesus on his website, flashes devil horns in many images he’s in, and the lyrics to this song literally speak of being what some would say is a Reptillian race where he speaks of cannibalism. If this is more of same Shhhhhh!, one eye covered, Pyramid capstone loving bullshit we are slurping up in America, we are heading towards disaster. Check out what the enemy is up to though. Its entertaining, but I feel bad for them in the end.
Not a player, but he crushes alot. Who is that? Who am I? What do I offer others in the form of bettering themselves in our epic evolution of our soul on this plane and..............woah, sorry. Just listen to this track and chill out for second.
Cards & Sita, Shouldn’t be Sorry. Its an updated loungy jazz jam. Smoother than baby foods innevitable outflow.
Tom Misch with the incredible Fkj on backup vocals and sweet synth, bass, etc... Great funky little R&B track. If you haven’t gotten into R&B we are entering into a mini golden age right now/past few years. Explore the johnrah in your Spotify’s and such. Peace.
Great track of a great album, Mr. Juke with Angels/Your Love. I higly recommend checking out this whole album. Extremely inventive, very sonic, very dynamic as far as changing sounds throughout.
Weekend and Kendrick on top of their respective games here. You should not listen to this song unless you have some headphones with 45mm Neodyniums, 20-28K frequency response, 99 dB sensitivity, and 35+ Ohms. Seriously. The fact that it will sound good through stock iPhone headphones is testament.
Mr. White seems to keep coming back with music that pushes his sound and capabilities to levels not yet expected or seen. This is testament, as we are indeed connected by love in the end.
Off this years Milano album, Parquet Courts are switching it up with some female vocals with Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in colaboration with Italian composer Daniele Luppi.
Bummers - “The South” . Never hear, never know..............
Los Lobos - “Kiko and The Lavender Moon” off their 1992 album Kiko. This is one of those songs that you come across that just really surprises you, makes you take a step back and dig a bit further into the album. Their are plenty more gems on Kiko should it have that effect on you. This song is Lou Diamond Phillips approved if you were wondering.
Everyone knows The Smiths, but I just heard this again for the first time if thats even possible. Does music change like your tastebuds over time? Maybe, but all I now is that this tastes good sitting by a fire with a special lady.
If you are new to 70′s afrobeat, Ebo is a great starting point. William Onyeabor would be a good next stop to discovering the rich, hypnotic, and tight sound of these early pioneers.
New track from Kaytranada. “Weight Off” featuring the jazz ensemble Badbadnotgood. This is an album worth cutting into with a fork and knife, knapkin on lap, because its JAF (juicy as fuck). Hit it up.
Check, check, check, check, check........................ If you know, you know, if you don’t know now you know.
Nap Eyes track, also off a 2015 Paradise of Bachelors Records release.
