I’ve only had that once I think, wasn’t a fan of it! I think it’s because I don’t like pecans. I used to like chocolate icecreams a lot but I can’t eat a lot it because I get sick now if I do.

I honestly have no idea and I’ve been trying to figure it out for a while now since I got here. The outside of the castle never changes really though. Or at least the structure itself.

Both, really. Although my specialty is more bicycles. My senior project involved creating a no-resistance bike. My father owned a garage though so I worked there and lent a hand so I know my way around a number of vehicles. [blinks] A linguist? How interesting! I know German and English and a handful of words in other languages but that is it. You are also a scientist and explorer? Have you explored anywhere?

[looks at the book] My dad is teaching me to read, but I’m not very good at it yet. What’s this book about?

[He points at the cover and grins] Your pops is teaching ya? That’s cool, reading is fun, I mean video games are better, but reading is pretty cool.Anyways, this book is about a hungry caterpillar.

I dunno… I mean you’re a stranger! But… you’re at the castle and it wouldn’t let you here if you were bad… [he hopes at least]

I’m fine! Just… there was… a bee! A bee in my room.

Hmm, a bee? I don’t beelieve it. [He snickers a little at his joke then looks around] That bee must’ve been pretty strong. Especially to get in here with all the windows down. 

[He shakes his head then glances behind him] How about we go get some ice cream until that bee leaves your room

Mhm. I know one person got a more wood-themed bedroom while mine is more sleek and modern looking. It should still be in the same place. The layout does not change too much although the castle knows to add a room whenever we get a new person.

It was quite jarring. The people here are friendly though. [smiles] Thank you. My degree is actually in Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering. I’m pretty good at figuring out how to make things go faster if it is a vehicle… What do you enjoy doing, Alfred?

Oooh! Interesting. [He pulls out his journal from his back pocket and quickly jots it down befor looking back up towards her] I wonder how it knows that... Oh man imagine how huge this thing can get!

[He laughs softly then shakes his head, shoving his journal away.] Oh whoa thats really handy huh? Have you built cars or do you simply modify their base design? As for me, I’m a linguist, I’m also a scientist and explorer, but people mostly focus on the linguist part. [He shrugs] Not that I mind. Sometimes it’s fun being able to read dead languages and junk.
