Or even better yet, you need to nap more. Cat nap at least. You seem to be doing nothing but practice [yawns] Just watching you is making me tired.
But I did nap earlier; I was in the sun and woke up refreshed. And besides, napping isn’t very fun nor is it productive and I want to get better at sword fighting.

[he’s outside despite how dark it is outside with a wooden sword slashing and lunging at a practice dummy] [grumbling to himself as he attacks it, sounding rather out of breath]

Peter eh? Nice name little man. Sound like a noble name.
Ooooh! Those are great, but honestly you can’t beat good ‘ol butter pecan.
Not that noble... Just a name, yeah?
I’ve only had that once I think, wasn’t a fan of it! I think it’s because I don’t like pecans. I used to like chocolate icecreams a lot but I can’t eat a lot it because I get sick now if I do.
Well, I wasn’t actually a bear, that’s just the character I replaced. And I knew I was cursed in the beginning– it was very startling! I wish I could turn into a bear, that’d be cool!
Ooo, I bet you’d get along with Tigger then! He’s like a tiger, but bouncier.
[he’s bouncing up and down at this point]
When I turned into a lion the first time it was startling too!! I was in a restaurant and I didn’t have enough money so I panicked and suddenly I was a lion and people were freaking out but I was able to get out the door!
A tiger?! You’re friends with a tiger?! That’s so cool! I wish I could meet him but he’s probably in the book huh, do you think there’s a way for me to say hi to him?
Well, I was certainly in the book! But I think I also stood in as one of the characters. Remember that silly bear I mentioned? That was me!
Oh, if it hurts, then you don’t need to show me!
Whoaah so were you actually a bear in the book? Did you know that you were cursed? Can you turn into a bear?
You’ll probably see it sometime. It happens sometimes randomly, but I turn into a lion cub and when I’m me I have really good hearing, sight, and smelling and my teeth are a bit sharper and my eyes get slitty when I’m focused on stuff!
[small laugh] Well, I’m not cursed anymore, but I was for a long time. [blinks] Too? Were you in a book as well?
So were you like... actually in it or were you a character?! If I borrow it will you show up in it?!
No I wasn’t put in a book but I am cursed, currently too!
I can show you if you want? It kinda hurts but I don’t mind much.
Hm… not really. You’ll find that a book becomes much more unpredictable when you live within it. [mysterious little smile]
[cue realization in 3... 2... ]
DID YOU GET CURSED TOO?!
[He smiles and chuckles a little] Don’t worry man, I’m no bad dude. And just so we won’t be strangers no more, my name’s Alfred.
[He waits for the other to join him then begins walking down the hall] So little man, what’s your favorite flavor of ice cream?
[he gives him a small smile and nods his head] Peter. It’s nice to meet you, Alfred.
[has to think on that question but smiles even more] Probably mint chocolate chip! Or vanilla... hm.. I like them both!
Oh, I wasn’t lonely at all! The book and everyone in it kept me company.
Yeah but after reading it over and over again didn’t it get boring?
Mm… Something like that, yes. That book was my only friend for a very long time.
You must have been really lonely then. I used to be lonely too when I was younger so I know how it feels but to only have a book as your friend must have sucked.
Hmm, a bee? I don’t beelieve it. [He snickers a little at his joke then looks around] That bee must’ve been pretty strong. Especially to get in here with all the windows down.
[He shakes his head then glances behind him] How about we go get some ice cream until that bee leaves your room
[fidgets as the other looks right past his lie and he falters, tugging at his sleeves]
I dunno... I mean you’re a stranger! But... you’re at the castle and it wouldn’t let you here if you were bad... [he hopes at least]
I guess.. [walks over to him]
[you can’t lie to a scientist, even him i mean they breed to crack down lies]
[he simply leans against the door frame, lowering his glasses slightly before fixing them back on his face]
Doesn’t look like it. Come on little man, are you okay?
[quickly stands to his feet, glancing to where he hid the crown to make sure it wasn’t visible underneath the blankets]
I’m fine! Just... there was... a bee! A bee in my room.
[small chuckle] Of course you can! You just have to promise to return it. That book means a lot to me.
Did you grow up with it or somethin’? I have a few books like that that I was always read when I was a kid.
[He’s been wandering around the castle, just getting lost and maping his way around in his little journal]
[that is until he hears mumbling come from a room] [he peeks in and sees a lil kid holding something in his hands]
[carefully he knocks on the door] Uh, you alright there little man?
[he actually s c r e e c h e s and quickly hides the crown under some blankets]
[oh no oh no oh no how did he not hear him] [whirls around and looks at the guy, his eyes wide]
Y-Yeah! I’m fine, nothing wrong in here nothing at all!
It might not sound interesting at first, but it is! He’s quite a silly bear, who always forgets things. Oh, and he has many friends too! Like Piglet and Owl and Rabbit and Eeyore… [he trails off, expression becoming sad for a moment before brightening again]
Anyway, it is a good book, even if it doesn’t seem it.
You sound like you enjoy the book a lot so I guess it can’t be that bad. [smiles even if he did notice the sad look on his face]
May I borrow it sometime? I’d like to read it and see if I like it.
[sitting in his room with a small frown on his face, a silver crown in his hands as he sits in front of the mirror][carefully places the crown on his head and huffs]
[it feels familiar and comforting and he sighs softly, propping his chin up on his hand]
I wonder how mom is...
[doesn’t realize his door is ajar ]
