my number one advice for parents is to listen to your children tbh. and i dont just mean listening to their problems i mean like. when your kid recites the plot of a movie youve already seen or your tells you about what they did at school today or wants to show you their roblox gameplay. youve gotta be invested in knowing your kid as a person or why are you even doing the whole parenting thing.

a thing about me is i basically never notice a wig or other kind of hairpiece in tv/movies. it has to be party city territory for me to even twig it. people will complain about characters' wigs looking bad and i will nod along but there is like a 90% chance i did not notice for a second while watching. i consider this mostly a blessing.

Starting an Ethel Cain themed/inspired peice next! Doing an embroided patchwork sort of thing.

First patch I've sketched out is like art nouveau ceramic wall tiles with gardenias in the centers and stinging nettle leaves in the corners and the quote "to love me is to suffer me" from Nettles.

Next one will be the cross powerline logo thing with a kettle of vultures circling above and maybe some flies with the "If it's meant to be then it will be, I forgive it all as it comes back to me"

Haven't figured out the design for patch number three yet but I know I want to use the quote "I can see the end in the beginning of everything" from Janie. Maybe another vulture thing because as we know I can't ever have enough vultures. Or maybe something with pomegranates or figs and fig wasps. We shall see. I'm open to ideas.
