"Everything for me is going great. I am very much loving Japan, though I fear I will be too exhausted to be fun when we get to Red Edge tomorrow."
"Good, I'm glad. I am too. I know how exhausted I'll be, but I had a great time in Japan."
Mari laughed and look at him. "So when you go to renew your vows in like ten years, you can borrow that idea and use the dog." She smiled.
"I will. Thanks, Mari." He smiled in return. "How's everything going for you?"
"Hell yes I am." Dorian smiled at Atlas. "How about you? How about you? You and Emma got anything major planned while we're here?"
"Things are good and things with Emma are going amazing. We're adopting a dog when we get back to Red Edge."
"Oh I know I am." He joked and smiled. "I've been doing good, I can't complain too much."
"Good, I'm glad that you've been doing good." Atlas said with a smile. "Are you excited to be in Japan?" He asks.
"You two planning on doing an actual big wedding or no?" He asked. "Either way, let me know when you guys make it to one year of marriage, and you can have all of Velure for yourselves and the whole town can celebrate you two."
"I don't know, actually." Atlas admits. "I'll have to talk with Emma and see what she has in mind. I'll let you know, that would be awesome. Thanks man. You're seriously the best. How have you been?"
"We gotta change that, you and Emma need to start coming here more. I'll even give you two the VIP treatment, top of the line drinks, everything." He smiled. "I'm glad you two are married."
He grinned as he heard Dorian. "That would be great man, thanks." Atlas said as he lifted his drink to his lips and nodded at him. "That means a lot to me, I'm beyond happy right now and I cannot be anymore grateful."
Tokyo felt different after dark.
Emersyn stood just outside a small convenience store in Shibuya, a canned coffee in one hand and a shopping bag dangling from the other. Neon signs painted the street in every color imaginable while crowds flowed around her like a river. She glanced down at her phone, realizing she'd somehow wandered farther from the hotel than she'd meant to.
Looking up, she spotted a familiar face in the crowd and let out a relieved laugh. "Please tell me you know how to get back to the hotel, because I'm about ninety percent sure I'm lost." @rededgerpstarterblog
Atlas decided to take a walk and realized he was further than where he intended to go. When he spotted Emmy, he crossed the street and ran to his best friend. "Hey Emmy." He greeted with a small grin. "I do, considering that I came from that direction." He pointed from the way he came from. "What are you doing out so late? C'mon." He took the shopping bag from her. "Jesus Emmy, did you save enough tourist shopping for the rest of us?" He teases.
