It had taken him a little time, but eventually he'd gotten to the point where he could stop questioning the impromptu trip to Japan enough to let himself enjoy it. Although, despite the glamour, it wasn't without it's challenges. Still, he found a sliver of peace in his new found form of entertainment. "I'm convinced our 7-Elevens back home haven't discovered their true potential. "That's because it hasn't." Julian said with a chuckle. "Though, I don't think the Mayor actually cares enough about a 7-11 to make it like this." He added with a shrug and looked at the younger male. "Unless you like plan to start a riot or something, then the Mayor might care." He chuckled.

"I think I'm going to cry too. I really am loving it here." Julian looked at Elena and smiled at her. "What's been your fvaorite part of this trip?"

"That is very true." Noah said with a laugh. "We are very lucky to live where we do and always have access to good food."

"That's true, most people are not that lucky." He agreed and looked at him. "How are you doing though? Are you enjoying Italy? You and Nyla been having a good time?"

Veronica held his smile without softening hers, comfortable under the attention. “Most people think like me,” she said lightly. “They just do not say it out loud.”

At his question, she paused just long enough to make it deliberate. “A change,” she answered smoothly. “New cities have a way of resetting expectations.” Her gaze stayed on him. “And you? Have you always been here, or are you someone who chose this place on purpose?”

"Well if they said the queit part out loud, they would be judged and nobody here wants to be judged, which is very ironic if you ask me." He laughed. "I've been here and not here, but being away from here made me really miss here so that's why I came back. I will say though, New York and California very two different worlds and I love them both."
