Hey guys! It's Halloween today and the city is out in full force, with dozens of parties and opportunities to dress up in your best costume. Be sure to drive safely, take a Lyft or Uber and avoid having to think about it!

The Goat Farm (1200 Foster St) has their annual Scoutmob + The Goat Farm Halloween Party today, these things are always ridiculous over the top spectacles with giant puppets, crazy art, sp00ky live music, and more, so don’t miss this! This one has Puddles Pity Party, theatrical performances from Jungol, an “immersive, monumental piece of musical architecture,” and tons more stuff. $35 but sold out. [Facebook Link]
Tap (1180 Peachtree St NE) has the Tap x Red Brick Halloween Party tonight starting at 5pm, with a specialty cask of pumpkin imperial stout, and 2 additional kegs of coffee/chocolate porter, as well as Laughing Skull with Werther’s originals candy. There will also be Halloween treats including candied gala apples, Frog Legs & Slime (crispy frog legs with cilantro chili & vinaigrette) and Pork "Brains" (pork dumplings tossed in a sweet chili soy and scallion).
Halloween Critical Mass is this evening at 6pm from Woodruff Park (91 Peachtree St NE), a 10-15 mile sp00ky bike ride with hundreds of bicyclists.
Smith’s Olde Bar (1578 Piedmont Ave) presents a Halloween Spooktacular with the Witless Protection Improv troupe and Jesse and the Great Perhaps performing music. 6pm, $7 cover, 18+.

The Atlanta Zombie Apocalypseruns their final (ever) show tonight at 8pm, starting with an interactive haunted tour as you run for your life away from a zombie outbreak, followed by a zombie shoot through a pitch black hotel maze armed with a paintball fun. Tickets are $30 for on part or $55 for both. You guys voted this the best haunted house in Atlanta earlier this week, and after five years tonight is their final night, so be sure to make it out if you're interested!
The Buckhead Theatre (3110 Roswell Road) has A Social Mess Halloween Party at 8pm, featuring a "costume contest, kissing booths, lasers, booze, wigs, and poor morals." There will also be indoor camping. Tickets are $20, 21+.
Cypress Street Pint and Plate (817 West Peachtree) has an 80s Zombie Prom starting at 8pm, with makeup artists to turn you into a zombie, a Zombie Prom King and Queen at the end of the night, an undead photo booth, and more. Admission is free, or you can get VIP tickets for $25 that includes unlimited Lonerider drinks.
The Hangar (151 Sampson St NE) has Ghoul Hard II at 9pm, a dance party with a costume contest and celebrity judges. $10 admission includes all you can drink booze. 21+
CosmoLava (45 13th St) has the 8th Annual Nightmare on 13th Street party at 9pm with a costume contest, food trucks, and Halloween-themed carnival games. $10. 21+
Studio No. 7 (393 Marietta St NW) has their Halloween Party tonight from 9pm, with complimentary Cathead cocktails until 11pm, and music from DJ 100k. Dress in a costume that is dance floor compatible. $15 cover.
The Music Room (327 Edgewood Ave)is holding an Evil Dead Party at 9pm, they will be projecting all three Evil Dead movies along with a live performance of the Rocky Horror Picture Show OST by Hot Paotootie, live music from Swank Sinatra, The Joy Kills, and Haunter, and a dance party afterwards. $7 cover, 21+
Elliott Street Deli & Pub (51 Elliott St SW) hosts their Roaring 20's Halloween Party tonight at 9pm, with spooky live music from The Omega Level.
Red Brick Brewing (2323 Defoor Hills Rd) has Franks & Steins Halloween Beer Bash starting at 9pm, with zombies, fortune tellers, and live music from Black Wolf Moon. There will also be a costume contest, and an artist drawing portraits of costumed guests. Tickets are $30 at the door (or $40 with food).
The Euclid Avenue Yacht Club (1136) has their Annual Halloween Bash tonight at 9pm featuring DJ Evil Jet.
The Mammal Gallery (91 Broad St SW) presents Feliz NaviDEAD tonight at 9pm, a scary merry Christmas-themed Halloween party with Santa, live music, and a DJ. Tickets are $5 if you come in costume, $7 otherwise. Hybrid Christmas/Halloween costumes encouraged.
Paris on Ponce (716 Ponce de Leon ave) hosts Le Grande Halloween Party at 9pm today, with live music, film screenings, a costume contest, and general creepy weirdness. Admission is $35 and includes one drink ticket. Felipe Barral will be performing two shows of his original score to accompany Nosferatu, I saw him perform this at The Goat Farm a few years ago and it fit the movie really well, you’ll definitely want to see it!
The Plaza Theatre (1049 Ponce de Leon Ave) has a Rocky Horror Halloween Costume Party at 9:30 and again at midnight, tickets are $15 and include a complimentary Rocky Horror gift bag.
The Poncey-Highland Halloween Block Party starts at 10pm around FLiP Burger, The Highland Ballroom, Sweet Auburn BBQ and Cafe 640. There will be a rooftop dance party at FLiP as well as $3 fireball and $4 beers.
Kaleidoscape (825 Warner St SW) has All Hell Breaks Loose tonight at 10pm, a Halloween rave split over heaven, purgatory, and hell. There will be all kinds of electronic music, a fire show, and lots of costumes. $20 admission, 18+.
H. Harper Station (904 Memorial Dr) presents Movies & Voodoo Halloween tonight at 5pm, with a classic Halloween movie and New Orleans style food and drink specials.
Atlantic Station is showing the movie Hocus Pocus tonight at 7:30pm in central park, admission is free
The Plaza Theatre (1049 Ponce) is showing the 1968 independent horror film Night of the Living Dead by George A. Romero, the original zombie flick!
The Basement Theatre (175 W Wieyca Rd) has Drive-In Prov at midnight, with improvisers riffing over the original Halloween. Free admission if your name is Michael, free drinks if your name is Michael Myers. Tickets are $5.
Cabin of Terror: An Improvised Long-Form Novel is at Whole World Improv Theatre tonight at 9pm, a two-act show filled with laughs and scream. Come in costume!
Village Theatre (349 Decatur St) hosts the Underwear Comedy Party tonight at 11pm, a Halloween special! Tickets are $10 or free if you show up in your Halloween underwear.

Music Highlight: The New Deal with Conspirator and Modern Measure at Variety Playhouse
It’s been a good long while since Canadian electronic trio the New Deal set out on a big tour and it’s exciting to see them stopping locally on one of live music’s biggest nights of the year for a Halloween show in L5P at Variety. This long-time jam scene staple is sure to bring out a vibrant, costume’d scene and propel the space with their high energy style of playing. The ATL Collective present Michael Jackson's Thriller at The Vinyl
Friday's presentation will be curated by the amazingly talented SHADOWBOXERS and will feature Culture Culture & more (TBA) . Though technically the music will be the same both nights, the experience of each show will be very different. Expect a re-imagining (appropriate for the costume clad), as The Shadowboxers bring the tunes into a whole new light.
