(a little longer than) 10 minute clodsire warmup

my 10 min mon was a bit more than ten minutes today. because as i was drawing it my bboyfriend said 'you should give it a pumpkin, like they do for those baby hippos at the zoo' and i just sat there in silence realizing ive never drawn a pumpkin before...

so while clodsire was drawn in 10 minutes, the pumpkin, i spent a very long time staring at google images of pumpkins and trying to draw it properly, because i was embarrassed to not know how to draw a pumpkin, and because i would do anything to make my boyfriend smile

Wait, lions eat watermelons? I get bears since they're omnivores but lions are obligate carnivores and can't digest plant matter.

they don't eat it as actual food, they like the water content!

this is also why humans started cultivating watermelon in the first place, and why it even has that name. it's a good hydrating snack for an apex predator!

they also do with this wild melons in their natural habitat! when you live in a very dry area, you take your liquids where you can get them.

basically, watermelons are Gatorade for large predators.
