I would do that but tbh tumblr is flagging a million of my posts as adult that are 100% not adult so I trust them not at all to do it properly. Tumblr atm, according to my flagged posts, hates penises and love full on open pussy even tho they said stuff like that isn’t allowed  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Furthermore, to get appealed, they specifically state on their support page to get rid of adult content and then they’ll consider it. The main issue I’m dealing with is that since my blogs are hidden, I’m invisible on google and I can’t even open my own blog as the blog owner. Unless people are following me already or they somehow find me thru tumblr, it’s very difficult for people to interact.

I can totally do sfw stuff from now on but it does not fix the fact that I’m a passenger on my own blog, watching tumblr drive it straight off a cliff. I’m not tryna attack your opinion of course. This certainly works for some people but I’m currently not happy with it.

Important - Might nuke some stuff

And by some stuff, I mean the blog lol. So I’m thinking, I might just delete everything here (*not the blog itself, just the posts*) so I can be clean of sin™ and get my blog (including sarroffssin and jjsden) appealed so my stuff is visible again.

What this means is I will still continue my blogs (if this goes well) without explicit nsfw content. IMPORTANT! - I will still make lewd art, however fully uncensored versions will be posted solely to my twitter and FA just to abide by tumblr’s policies. 

I’m doing this because, due to the hidden nature of my blogs, they might as well be dead. I’m hemorrhaging notes, asks, and comments and I often get more traction on twitter even tho I have a fraction of my followers there. I love my blogs and I do this because I love making lewd art but if people can’t find me and if I can’t even access my own blogs, it’s incredibly demotivating. Plus tumblr has the shittiest idea on what’s flaggable or not so I might as well just restart everything with censors. As much as I wanna fight tumblr, I also have to support my art. So sometime soonish, I will be deleting all posts but:

- I will archive my blogs and will place the backups in a public drive or something for everyone to access.

- From when I nuke, everything will continue where I left off - so I will not reupload old posts (except for special ones like Cloud 9 covers). I know that’s gonna suck for chronological stuff and comics but I have 3 years worth of posts which I don’t want to repost and I’m personally into my newer art than my old. For my more popular posts, I will at least try reposting those though obviously anything that isn’t fit for tumblr will go on twitter or elsewhere. Of course, if any questions pop up on characters, timelines, stories, etc I will always be happy to clarify things.

- I am making a patreon atm so I can focus more on blogging and rebuilding everything. There will be 0 paywalls and content will remain the same. But I will offer rewards to those who go the extra mile to support me.

This is gonna suck some nads and I really don’t like how this is the only viable way to get my blogs visibility back but I hope ya’ll are alright with this decision and I appreciate all the support that’s still hanging around this garbage fire <3. I plan on sticking around until a better place for ask blogging surfaces. Pillowfort is currently on the table but until they open up registration, tumblr, twitter, and FA it is.

I don’t know when I’ll nuke because it’s literally hurting my heart to think everything I’ve done is gonna have to go but I will give a warning when it happens.

You don't actually need to nuke the content, just let tumblr tag the old posts as adult and just post sfw stuff from now on.

To Every Art Blog That Thinks They Are Dead

Tumblr is making a move to try to remove adult content from Tumblr. Everyone who reads the first line of that press release is going to think “TUMBLR IS DEAD! EVERYTHING’S ON FIRE!”

No.

They appear to be going more for what the rules on Deviant Art are, and even then that isn’t 100% true. What isn’t allowed anymore are REAL LIFE genitalia, breasts, nipples, etc. and ANY depiction of actual sex.

What is allowed is any illustration, sculpture, etc. of art that depicts things such as nudity, which means any pinups are allowed. So long as the people in the picture aren’t fucking, go right ahead. They don’t even care about sexual fluids or male erections like Deviant Art does, which actually makes understanding these rules a lot easier than DA’s.

And as for this blog and/or other writers out there, erotica/written works aren’t being hit at all for this, so I can still post as much porn and sex as I want so long as it’s in my writing and not in picture form, so none of you have to worry about it.

So, have a safety kitten, and calm your tits, because while you can’t show off your tits specifically anymore, you can still show off your favorite character’s.

Even then, you’d have to trust it to be enforced fairly as stated. And also, if that’s true or not, the impact of the change in user base is a big deal too. Will the site die? Literally, no. But it will be a shell of itself with many creators we follow jumping ship because they aren’t ok with the direction. I think there’s reason enough to be upset.

I know the new update has people freaking out, but further on in the details of the update it states that it's real life images are what's actually being banned, in a lower paragraph it states art is still allowed. so long as it's not real life people.

I often draw short characters poking people in their buttholes with massive dicks.

I am pretty sure they ain’t talking about me when it comes to the type of art being allowed.Though I still planned to post here but will definitely have to remove a chunk of straight up NSFW content that goes beyond a TIDDY flash or artistic nudity. possibly the lamest option for the time being until something else better shows up.
