She sighs a bit to herself, ignoring the smell of blood as she straightens herself up. Resting her hands on the railing, Nameless enjoys the scenery in its entirety while ignoring the fleeting stares at the back of her head. She heard the whispers and the belittlement but really she couldn’t care less. Blood is blood. A life source to a vampire but she found that water can sustain her more than blood. No matter how many times her cousins would invite her out to feed, Nameless could only click her tongue in distaste at the mere thought of biting into oily or sweaty skin just to drink a liquid.
A familiar voice breaks her out of her thoughts as she turns to see the same male vampire looking at her while speaking. “I can smell it. I would have hoped some vampires wouldn’t have fed before this…party of whatever we’re suppose to be celebrating,” she responds, raising an eyebrow in slight amusement at the crowd of vampires at the balcony door “Your little entourage seems to be waiting for you. This has been a highlight of this party for me.”
“You don’t need to apologize for doing what you want. I don’t give much of a favorable impression for any of the other vampires to approach me with that rumor circulating,” Nameless then chuckles to herself, leaning back against the railing a bit “I assume you’re curious about this no blood drinking that I do. Why else would a vampire like you come out to approach a loner like me? Well, blood…is blood and I can understand it being a life source but I wasn’t born as a vampire.” She stops there, looking over his shoulder before smiling good naturedly. “Unfortunately, that’s all I’m going to reveal since I seem to have taken your time from your fans. Seems like you’re someone of importance but I never keep up to date with royalty.”
“I suppose some see glasses of blood similar to what humans would do with champagne at gatherings like this” Wonwoo suggested with a shrug, not judging her thought process but rather providing his own thoughts on the matter. If they knew someone who reacted negatively to the smell of blood was coming then different arrangements should have been made, Wonwoo didn’t doubt that, but he was the sort of person who tried to see both sides in any given situation. When the woman in front of him said about those following him though, waiting for him, the huff that Wonwoo let out was clearly an annoyed one. He had excused himself, removed himself from the discussion, and yet they continued to follow.
“I’m sorry, let me just-” he turned around to close the doors, closing off those who had followed him and shutting them out of the conversation. They could go back inside at any time, the doors weren’t locked, but he hoped that he managed to get his message across with the action. He had removed himself from them for a reason and wished to be left alone. Some vampires were so hung up on his lineage they stuck onto him like a bit of toilet paper on the bottom of his shoe.
“I wouldn’t say it is unfavorable, I was just curious about a few things” he admitted honestly “I know of another vampire who doesn’t drink human blood, though they do drink animal blood gathered from a vampire friendly butchers, but from what I have heard you don’t drink animal blood either. Do you not function at a weaker state? My friend does and he still drinks animal blood, it’s all very interesting to me”
Wonwoo cased a glance towards the closed doors once more, shaking his head “I’m not royalty but I am close to the royals, I come from a noble family and one that is close to the monarchy” he explained “But vampires like those-” he gestured to the doors “Are why I don’t really come to these events, they’re annoying”
