Ymir was asked out by a classmate to go to the prom. As that classmate is a girl, naturally Ymir said yes. (And blonde on top of that... Guess Ymir has a type, huh?) They made quite an impression on each other throughout the evening and ended up becoming a couple! Congrats, Ymir!

Armin is such a sweetheart! Unfortunately, his attempt to ask a loner classmate to dance wasn't very much appreciated by said person. Maybe because he's a guy? I do hope that wasn't the reason.

Annie meanwhile was just chilling in the corner and waiting for her song to come on. I doubt she made any step on the dancefloor before that.

Wow, Bertholdt got challenged to a dance battle and won! That he entered the battle is a wonder itself, but he was pushed by his buddy Reiner who cheered the loudest through the whole thing. He was also more than happy to take on the sore loser after Bertl's ordeal - probably causing Marco to spot the wardrobe malfunction when Reiner accidentally pulled down the other's pants during the fight.

Sasha was being a naughty girl when she tried to set up a prank. I'm surprised Mikasa and her were getting a long so well during the rest of the evening, even dancing together! I guess Mikasasha might actually be a thing...

Of course, Reiner was checking out all the handsome dudes and beautiful ladies in their suits and dresses. Historia either didn't see him doing it or didn't care in the first place, but she did care when someone actually tried to hit on him. Wee, was Reiner delighted to watch that go down!

Okay, the kids went to their first prom and were pretty impressed with the decorations and all. Apparently, Eren was a little too impressed as he kept worrying that the aliens might be coming to get him - like that one night he made the mistake of going out to check out the strange light coming from the sky.

Hi, how are you? I need help with a couple of questions in mind. So I'm thinking of buying one of the Sims 3 expansion packs—either Generations or Late Night—which do you think is better? Also, do I need the original Sims 3 in order to play either of the expansion packs, or will it allow me to install them by themselves?

Well, that really depends on what you prefer. These two are very different from each other. Late Night focuses on nightlife and partying, as it contains vampires, bars and clubs, and celebrities, whereas Generations is all about family. Kids get to play pranks, go to boarding school and prom etc. You can read up all the features on the respective Wiki pages:

I think Late Night might add more to the gameplay, but the bars and clubs are a big disappointment since there are rarely other sims besides yours around.

Yes, you do need the original Sims 3 before you install any expansion pack.

I have to work on a bunch of papers in the next couple of weeks, so I'm afraid I won't be able to update this blog every single day. Gifts! Look how happy they all are! Who doesn't like gifts? Apparently, Armin, since wasn't too happy about the lava lamp that he got. He really has to lower his expectations. Most of them got weird, useless stuff: Pictures, lamps... Except Erwin who got a chess board.

When it's time for presents, everybody gathers around the little stage in the party room where the heap of gifts is set up. Marco is very excited about unwrapping the gifts, but Annie doesn't share his enthusiasm.

"Oh, I wonder what we are all going to get! Aren't you excited, Annie?"

These four have to use the bubble bar before getting in the mood for dancing. Oh la la, is Annie blowing heart-shaped bubbles there? Don't tell me she's in the mood for love...

In the evening, the whole squad assembles in the party room for Christmas eve after dressing up. Connie has volunteered to provide the music as DJ and the majority is on the dancefloor shaking their booties.
