A big reason why I personally don't like the idea of a romance between Din and Bo-Katan is because I love the idea of a man pledging his loyalty and, above all, his utmost respect to a woman without there being some kind of undertone of something he wants from her—love, wealth, etc. The idea of Din being loyal to Bo simply because he sees her as a strong, wise, and powerful person on her own is so much more meaningful to me than it being because he's attracted to her or in love with her.
