Moving to Florida has been pretty dope..

I would like to formally introduce everyone Forrest Stumps.
Forrest Stumps is a Male Wood Turtle, approximately 10 years of age.Forrest Stumps is obviously missing his front limbs, but that doesn't hinder him, since he would barely hold still for photos. He's obviously eating, since he crapped all over.
Mr. Stumps was going to go to rehab, but he told us he doesn't have a problem. It will be interesting to see if we run into him a few more times this year and find out what he’s been up to.
I took Kodak to the beach to watch the sunset. He faced the wrong way the entire time. He’s a terrible date.

My mind is blown. I went herping yesterday, a friend took me to one of his spots and there’s a couple of broken down cars and an old trailer there. We never went into the trailer, but today we did. It’s full of a bunch of old papers, books and journals from the 60s.
I found these papers from the Kennedy assassination in there and snapped a picture of this Eastern Gartersnake in front of the car. I didn’t think about it until this morning, but that car looks like a 1960 Lincoln Continental. Kennedy was assassinated in a 1961 Lincoln Continental.
Parallels are weird, yo.
Got a full day of herping with friends planned for Sunday. Starting today, the weather will be between 60-70, this should give stuff the opportunity to get moving. It’s going to be my first day off in 12 days, and it can’t come fast enough.
For not being a bird dog, Kodak sure is a bird dog. They always seem to pique his interest on our hiking breaks.
This last week or so has been strange. Probably because I’m not miserable anymore. I’m surrounded by amazing people that I love. We’re discussing going to London for a few days in the fall. I think this is something we need to make happen.

I just hiked Kodak for 3 hours. This is only the third time he's been out since winter. Those people who actually know me, know that he goes practically everywhere with me, if possible.
His legs are tiny, he's tired. He saw the car and started pulling on his leash to get in, so I put him in there while I went to go to the bathroom instead of making him walk that extra bit with me.
A couple with their dog saw me put him in, and the lady says to the guy, "He's just leaving his pup in the car?"
Yeah, you moron. I drive my dog places with me so I can just leave him in the car while I go do stuff by myself. He's clearly panting from heat exhaustion and not exertion because I left him in the car to bake while I went for a hike.
Some people, I swear... I mean, just look at this poor, neglected dog.
I ended up smoking a bowl by a spot called Lost Lake on my hike today. I got there at 4:20, the whole situation has my mind blown.
