The Sailfish OS installation guide on Nokia N9 is as follows:
1- Press Ctrl + Alt + T on your Linux distribution 2- terminal opening type "sudo su" (without quotes) to get permits 3- You need to have harmattan flasher 4- Head in zImage path 5- Write this command "flasher -k zImage -n initrd-moslo -l-b" (without quotes) 6- Connect your smartphone to the PC 7- Display a green screen with the Alt_OS partition 8- If you have something inside the partition you have to remove it 9- Now you need the image of Sailfish Os 10- Transfer the image to your Alt_OS partition! (here is a command for that: time sudo tar -numeric-owner -xvf sailfishos_n9_1_0_0_5.tar.bz2 -C / media / Alt_OS /) 11- Once the transfer is complete, type the following commands:
sync; sync
umount / media / Alt_OS

MeeGo Harmattan is not deleted but, if all is well, you create a DUAL BOOT
The first thing you need to do is install Ubiboot
