Eating out and weight loss
- Before you go out eat a small snack, that way you won’t be starving and making impulsive choices;
- When at restaurants, skip those little baskets of bread, spend your calories on nutritious dishes, and not on a bunch of refined carbs;
- Analyze your options, carefully go over the menu and choose something small, that contains vegetables, lean meat or fish, whole grains and little to none fried ingredients;
- Go for water or a glass of wine (if you’re old enough), skip fruit juices (unless they offer 100% natural, straight out of a fruit), sodas,…
- Customize, ask for little to no salt, check what kind of sauces and tempers will go into your plate, ask to remove ingredients,.
- Coffee or fruit, skip high-calorie and sugary desserts and go for a cup of coffee or fruit instead;
