WIP (Not) Wednesday: Bridgedor AU / JungHeert Cameo
It’s been a little while since I’ve worked on A Marriage of Heaven and Hell (I’ve had dear friends staying with me and my family for over a week and we’re preparing to host my sons birthday party today. So when I’m not working, washing dishes or changing diapers, I have NO mental or physical energy left for anything else).
BUT! I did manage to carve out a little bit of the JungHeert cameo in Kleya’s chapter (my forthcoming update). This one’s for you @marroniere 😘
Putting the snippet below the cut for spoilers' sake.
Context: Kleya, posing as a debutante, is working covertly with Lonni to plan a heist of Davo Sculdun's ill-gotten art and antiquities collection. Heert doesn't know what's going on, he's just there for the vibes.
Kleya’s fingers closed tightly around the slip of paper. “You’re taking an enormous risk, Mr. Jung. If Luthen and I succeed—”
“Then Sculdun will lose what he prizes above all else,” Lonni replied quietly, his resolve unshakable. “Some accounts cannot be settled with money alone.”
They allowed a brief silence to settle. Kleya certainly appreciated the man’s acting ability. For all intents and purposes, they were just two acquaintances sipping their tea and enjoying a respectable conversation.
The bell above the door of the tea shop chimed again, calling Kleya's attention away from her companion, as a dark-haired gentleman in an elegantly tailored summer suit entered. He surveyed the bustling room for a moment before his gaze brightened with recognition.
“Jung!” Mr. Avril Heert called warmly, approaching their table with a courteous bow. “I hoped I might find you here. And in the company of the lovely Miss Marki, no less.”
Lonni’s ears tinged pink, though his expression remained composed. “Avril..." He cleared his throat and corrected himself. "Heert. What an unexpected pleasure. Please do feel free to join us.”
Friends, I need a morale boost. Pls leave me a nice comment on A Marriage of Heaven and Hell!
I’m working on the next chapter (Kleya POV), where the plot will ramp up, especially between Kleya and Vel. 😉 however, it may take me a bit longer bc my personal life is unendingly busy this month…

i wanted to draw wicked for a long time and i am so happy how it cames out , green aren"t my favorite color but i had so much pleasure to use it that now i am thinking of using it more ( yes i did glinda too ;)
i love kleya marki, i love the dynamic with luthen , i might do luthen next and maybe deedra and krennic ( not as martyr but as roman oppressor maybe?? but not right now) i would love to draw official star war characters .
there are missing sailor saturn and chibi moon, i would like to do also the villains, i am dreaming of a queen beryl and the 4 general in art nouveau style.
I did the good guys i should do also the prince diamond , the dark moon and the witches from sailor moon s?
Thoses illustrations i draw 10 years ago, saved my life, they helped me to hold on to life when i was in a abusive relationship, they also connected me with one of my close friend.
I still love them dearly and i am grateful .
