“okay, so i know we just arrived, but i have the most crucial question in the world to ask you …. should i wear my pink jacket or my gray one for the slopes?” hana grinned, lifting both said items of clothing. it had been probably less than an hour since they arrived in minnesota and while every inch of her body was screaming in protest, hana couldn’t help but feel giddy. they were finally doing this. they were going to see the world. “i need to look cute before i kick your ass on the slopes,” she taunted. there were few things that could ruin her good mood right now.
“ listen -- first rule of the slopes? you can’t blend into the background. if it’s a light gray she’s out because you’re gonna look like dirty snow. you don’t want to look like dirty snow. plus, pink would look cute on you, ” audrey sputtered out in quick succession, nervously. her back was pressed up against the wall, her arms were crossed at her chest pulling the fabric of her sleeves taut against her elbows. the brunette’s tired blue eyes were boring holes into hana’s jacket. it’d been a particularly long flight. “ you know what, in a lot of cases i’d say you could beat me but i grew up going to the ski lodge in the winter so like... try beating me, ” audrey let out a bare chuckle, but she was dead serious. ice skating -- she was shit. skiing? she would probably rank professionally. “ bet you’d put up a good fight. ”
