What I see in this moment is Mile’s protectiveness. He is very protective of the people he cares about. You have to add the fact that he has a strong sense of what’s wrong and right and decency. Is it not the same for most people? HELL NO. You don’t need to be a shipper to see how protective he is of Apo, warning him to be careful, to eat, when not to eat, etc. Mile is a caretaker, it’s in him. I believe if he had had a younger sibling, he would be the overprotective older brother who fights mosquitoes, lions, the world for them.
Back to the video, the photographer’s touch was so unnecessary. He could have voiced what he wanted. I guess he’s a photographer hired for the event and perhaps Apo knows him, no idea. The second man in the picture with them checked and then went back to looking elsewhere. Mile’s eyes NEVER left the photographer’s hand. The moment it touches Apo he was in protective mode.
Apo isn’t a damsel in distress. He isn’t fazed because as a former model, as someone who has been in this industry for so long, he’s used to that. He knows when to be alerted, when to fight or flight (see the creepy host when he was with Bible). He has a way of dealing with those kinds of situations and in this case it’s … I will do what the hell I want and he actually goes back to his former position before the man touched him. Things would probably have gone differently if Mile had sensed any annoyance or frustration on Apo’s part.
The tension in Mile’s body, the look in his eyes even briefly tells you that he found the gesture unacceptable. He may be saying OK or whatever, but his eyes, hand movement, it feels like what he’s saying is “ENOUGH”. His irritation could also be caused by the fact that the photograph was being too fussy and overdoing it, impatience could have played a part as well.
Just like Kinn, Mile’s anger can be lethal. Why do you think Apo refused to give an example of Mile’s anger? With a smile so luminous, when Mile goes dark it has to be frightening.
On what I see about Mile, he is the kind who has a great control of his emotions in public, he would smile through something annoying him. He isn’t the kind to lose it or start a screaming match, he has discipline and is a professional. That’s so sexy of him. Whatever happened, whatever went wrong will be dealt with later, the job first and then he can go nuclear behind the scenes.
