something that makes me go feral in f1 fics is how people write the way carlos speaks. like, yeah, english is not his first language and he makes a few mistakes here and there, but some of you guys write him as if he's a child who just learned the language. he went to a british school, he's been speaking english for work for idk how many years and yall still make him talk like middle schooler and don't even get me started on the throwing random spanish words in the middle of an english conversation.
