(( Any advice on Formlist Manipulator and Base Object Swapper? Manny-Mun has but one braincell and it is struggling. ))
Know it's been 84 years since I posted but
Making yet more progress on my mods. I'm kinda working on Locations first. Whiterun is like 90% done. Manny-Mun has added SO MUCH SHIT to it. Looks really cool. Hope to run through it soon.

Manny-Mun's Modding Misadventures
(Think I'm making really good progress on my modding. Really excited to post more Manny stuff soon. I just want to figure this out. Will probably be mugged by bears, but YULOSHUL)
(I am officially modding Skyrim Special Edition, and was wondering if anyone had any advice for how to manage being an ultimate mod gremlin and how to best handle everything? Thanks. I am hoping to post screenshots of Manarion when I finally get done.)
Altmeri Horse Breeds - A Comprehensive Guide
Altmer Horses, known to their masters, as Maeras, are generally much more intelligent and long-lived then the horses of men. High Elves are known to bond closely with their mounts and often refer to them as partners, friends, or companions rather then pets.
Like in most other pursuits that Altmer take part in, they take great pride in their appearance, strength, speed, and intelligence of their steeds, from the lowliest pony that helps guard sheep and goats to the greatest Drafthorse that pulls wagons.
{ This Worldcanon was created with some inspiration from lore and details of Lord of the Rings (X), (X))
Pinya'Fay-Maeras (Small-Fae): Small ponies that are rather short and stocky with shaggy, fuzzy coats in winter. They can be used for riding by elfling children, but most Altmer outgrow these animals in their teens. For the most part, these feisty and spirited animals are mostly companions for Altmer's sheep and goats protecting them from wolves or to provide friendship for larger breeds of Altmeri horses for less food and upkeep then another full-sized horse.
Boruth'Arda-Maeras (Loyal Servant): Larger then their cousins, the Pinya'Fay, these Ponies were bred with Pinya'Fay with larger work horses for increased mostly used as pack animals, or even pull small carts and serve as first steeds for Altmer children learning to ride. They are extremely steady and even tempered and sure-footed, earning them high regard by their masters for their faithfulness and loyalty.
Empor'Emerati-Maeras (Student-Teacher): A large sized pony that was is only slightly smaller then the standard Altmeri horse, these animals are the most popular for High Elven children to have as their first horse and for shorter Altmer and Bosmer, are loyal companions, whether for riding, pulling carts, or carrying supplies. Their name is given from their wise, patient, and forgiving natures and even High Elves who have outgrown these horses treat them fondly.
Ing'Mirie-Maeras (Gentle Lady): A standard breed that is used mostly for riding, specifically for Altmer women. They are responsive, emotionally intelligent, and protective of their riders. They are the smallest horse breed in the Isles, and known for their grace and smooth gaits. Currently, noblewomen in Cyrodiil and High Rock are champing at the bit for the option to purchase an Ingmirie. Ingmirie do tend to prefer female or feminine riders.
Ing'Tur-Maeras (Gentle Lord): Either the same breed as the Ingmirie or a slightly larger variant from crossing pleasure horses with a larger working or war horse, these animals are proud, loyal, and majestic, fitting any Lord. Even Nobles from outside of Summerset have spent thousands of gold to obtain these elegant creatures, although only Altmer can seem to appreciate the intelligence and wisdom these splendid horses offer their companions.
Diren'Canvaroth-Maeras (Swift Scout): A tall, elegant creature with excellent confirmation, these animals have earned their place in Altmeri society for their swiftness and steady feet in treacherous terrain. While the breed does enjoy some popularity in general riding and work circles, Diren'Udhendra are most commonly seen in the military, mostly for scouting and patrolling.
Kemendelia'Emerati-Maeras (Agriculture Mentor): The most popular farm and work-horse in the Isles, Kemendalia are strong, powerfully built, but still graceful animals with patient, hardworking natures and strong drive to work. They are renowned for their endurance and well-roundedness as a work or riding horse. They are the most common horse of Altmeri breeding seen outside the Isles, making them a powerful representative of peak High Elven horse breeding and training.
Renva'Udhendra-Maeras (Country Explorer): Bred specifically for hunting, these horses are excellent endurance runners and jumpers, in order to help their partners chase deer and other prey. They are also popular in show jumping amongst higher ranked Altmer and are growing more popular outside of the Summerset Isles. They are even starting to pop up into the High Elven military as scouting and patrol horses and amongst farmers for herding.
Arquen'Pelin-Maeras (Royal/Nobel Pride): The most popular breed of horse amongst the High Elves for pleasure riding, especially among nobles. They are renowned for their grace, swiftness, intelligence, and endurance.
Aran'Adonai-Maeras (Kingly Ruler): Known as the Horse of High Queens and Kings of Summerset. Only ridden by the reigning Monarch. They are known for their ethereal beauty and their unique coats that are of a metallic sheens. They are the largest riding horse in the Isles, and are extremely intelligent and said to have their own magic. Kings and Queens of Summerset are often buried with their horses and share a close bond with them.
Vendis'Pelin-Maeras (Noble Warrior): The oldest and most prolific War Horse of Summerset. These horses are majestic and powerfully built, reserved only for military use. They are known for their bravery and loyalty to their comrades.
Belda'Neran-Maeras (Powerful Maker) One of the breeds of Draft Horse from the Isles, these large animals are strong and steady, most often used for either plowing, hauling carts, and even some riding. Their gentle, stoic natures make them a popular choice on the field of battle or the fields of farms, although they tend to lack the fiery spirit of Vendis'Pelin, but are no less intelligent and willing to work.
Sidan'Hautalya-Maeras (Determined Builder): Another powerful Draft horse of the Isles, Sidan'Hautalya primarily work with hauling heavy wagons of supplies, farm work, and even carriage work in the cities of Summerset. They have a steady, even temperament and a patience and drive to work. They are also very popular for parades and marches and like their smaller cousin, Kemendalia, they serve multiple purposes and have distinct intelligence and personalities.
Arquen'Khard-Maeras (Noble Warlord): Bred by Manarion Elahriel. Considered the best Warhorses of the Summerset Isles, these are the largest breed of High Elven horses. Their strength and size is matched by their intelligence and courage and loyalty to their partner. They will usually only accept one rider for all their life, but have been known to be loyal to a rider and their line if their companion dies.

(Hey guys. I am thinking of returning and focusing more on doing Altmer/Thalmor world building and headcanons. I am open to RPing and stuff, I guess just hit the like button or whatever. I am hoping to be more active and productive.)
Diplomatic Immunity
@dragxnsfire
Manarion had never really been one for parties, but he couldn't deny that he did rather enjoy the ones that his Ambassador held at the Embassy. Of course, the old General was in charge of the security, and it was a duty he took very seriously.
Currently, he was hovering in Elenwen's vicinity, keeping a watchful eye as servants bustled to and fro, serving the guests and bringing out food and drinks from the kitchen. While he knew his First Emissary was a capable womer and more then able to fend for herself with her magic, he couldn't help but feel a bit overprotective at times.
And a little uncomfortable, since formality dictated that he had to forego his usual armor for some robes instead, which left him feeling a tad bit exposed. He settled about two meters from where Elenwen was greeting her guests and sipped at his wine, between glances around.
As much as he detested the new Thalmor, and all they stood for, there was no denying that they spared no expense when putting on a soirée; wines he hadn't seen for centuries, at least, all manner of delicacies from the Isles… if Seldo ignored his age, and the biting cold, he might've thought he was in Alinor again. (Or, perhaps that was too generous— Firsthold was, if he was honest, more accurate.) The Vestige hadn't bothered to disguise himself— not much. He'd gone to the trouble of shaving, and dragged out his least moth-eaten robes from the bottom of his wardrobe; but the guards were far too young to even know who he was, much less what he looked like.
It was a truly harebrained scheme, one he'd been reluctant to help the Blade-master with when he'd heard it: a Dragonborn and a scorned servant, infiltrating the Embassy together. And yet, he certainly couldn't afford for the newest Hero of the era to end up locked away for a clumsy scheme-gone-wrong… so here he stood, taking a glass of wine from the little Bosmer waitress, eyeing those who attended the party. Finally, his one-eyed gaze landed upon the massive Altmer close to the First Emissary, and his lips pulled into a small, rueful smile.
Urnarseldo moved toward Manarion, managing to catch his gaze as he walked toward the grand door to the snowed-over gardens, giving the older mer a wink, before passing out of his line of sight. An invitation to join him outside— or, rather, a challenge.
Manarion had noticed the other older mer entering the Embassy; he had been carefully observing anyone and everyone that entered, soldiers and guests going to and fro as invitees arrived. This wasn't the first time he had been in charge of the Ambassador's security for her parties.
Casting a surreptitious glance at Elenwen, and making sure to meet the eyes of the guards standing nearby, the old General followed Seldo outside, grumbling only slightly at the sudden cold that bit at his face and ears, despite his thick beard.
"Please tell me I will not have to kick your arse all over the Embassy tonight." He asked, or rather demanded, taking a sip of wine and shooting Urnarseldo a sharp-eyed look.

Glad to still see people around tho.))
Who would you rather face: Alduin or the High Justiciar?
"Alduin. Definitely fucking Alduin."
Have you met the Graybeards yet?
"I have been putting it off for a while since they called for me."
He was not a dog to be called for, and as much as he wanted to see what exactly made the Greybeards so revered by the populace of Skyrim at large, he was almost afraid of even more judgment.
quanalil:
With similar hound-like loyalty, Quanalil and his own steed- a sturdy black creature called Wraith- followed not far behind the former general in silence. He paused his horse when Manarion came to a halt, side-eyeing him for a few moments before finally speaking.
“Remind me what we’re supposed to be looking for?”
“There is supposed to be a Dragon Burial Mound somewhere around here.” Manarion replied, adjusting his grip on the map so that Quanalil could see. Hurricane took the opportunity to nibble on some snowberry bushes nearby, his tail swishing lazily. “I think on the hills somewhere.” The older Altmer replied.
“Sooooo a mound of dirt, surrounded by conspicuously-placed rocks, on top of another mount of dirt,” he clarifies dryly, his gaze sweeping over the map to take in some of the details once more before returning his attention to their surroundings for sign of their target.
“…Can a dragon become an undead, do you think?”
"Rocks on top of dirt on top of more rocks on top of more fucking dirt." Manarion wryly agreed, shuffling the map again in one large hand. Like Quanalil, he took a chance to survey their surroundings as well, before dismounting from Hurricane, leaving him to terrorize the snowberry bush further. "Too rough for the horses. Looks like we're walking from here."
