tumblr dot com: the queerest place on the internet! which is to say, it's a website where most poc have already been run off, antifeminism is the norm, porn bots run rampant, and harassment campaigns against transfems are seen as righteous. you'll have to cultivate a block list multiple pages long to have a somewhat bearable experience, but eventually you will find some of the loveliest souls you've met. they'll all be thousands of miles away and even if you do get to be face-to-face with them, it'll always be fleeting. maybe you'll have moments of intimacy from afar, but don't have them in tumblr dms, because they monitor those! because porn is Banned! oh, but don't worry. even though "sexually explicit material" is banned, you can still see posts of white gay men having literal actual sex on your dash, unflagged, real and artistically rendered, no matter how hard you try! and any images of women, especially trans women, will be marked as "mature" regardless of how many layers she has on <3 oh and if you ever comment on any of this, they'll also mark your whole blog as Mature or just nuke it without any reason or opportunity for recourse (: but every other website is still somehow worse so you'll have no choice but to try again and again and again.
