“I know, many beautiful women on display and they choose to fuck inanimate objects.” Rory shrugged. “To each their own, though as a dancer in the Dollhouse, it can get very distracting when it’s right in front of you. Luckily, it doesn’t happen in private dances, far to preoccupied with the dancer.”

Allie’s eyebrows shot up and she threw Rory a stunned look. “You haven’t bought one yet?” She meant to sound casual, but worry echoed in the tone of her voice. The full moon was coming up soon. There were very few things that she hated more than watching her friends get tortured by shifting without their will. It was pure torture. One she’d been through countless times before obtaining a moon talisman, one…one she could help Rory get rid of. Her expression relaxed and softened once the idea hit her mind, so she rushed to jump to their other subject. “Nevermind, you know how to take care of yourself. So let’s not do that tonight. You should go out there and finish your shift with a nice tip, and in the meantime I’ll go upstairs and search for the worst horror movies we could possibly watch,” she stated before jumping off her stool. “Your dorm, or mine?”

“I’ve been saving up for the last nine months since Gavin brought me here.” She knew if she asked Gavin, or any of her new pack, they’d likely support her in a heartbeat, but she didn’t like the thought of asking for help when they had already done so much by taking her into the pack in the first place. Rory liked being in her wolf form, she did, she just didn’t like the process of a forced, vaguely painful shift. “That I do, I swear people act like I’m the baby of the pack.” she teased with an eyes roll. “I always get nice tips, but it’s all good, I’m already finished for this evening, I just need to grab my clothes and we can go back to our cabin and hit up my room?”

She grinned, her hand skimming down the brunettes waist and playfully slapping her ass. “No, tomorrow is going to be a lazy day of recuperating for us sugar.” she replied as she began to lead the way back to her cabin and the start of their night of bad decisions.

Rory winked at Morgan as she felt the slap to her ass. “You can explain to my boss tomorrow, and write my sick note for me. Dear Gavin, Rory’s dead from alcohol poisoning, please excuse her from work and appreciate she doesn’t need the lecture, she may or may not be still dead tomorrow.”

“Staff. I’ve worked at the Overlook Cafe for over a year.” She smiled, tucking some hair back. “How long have you been here?” Emmy couldn’t get enough of the resort. At least not yet.

“I’ve been here nine months, I keep weird hours because of rotating shifts, probably why we’re not really met before now. I’m Rory.” She smiled at the other woman.

“Well, I’m okay with cliche.” he replied with a smirk, as his hand trailed down to her waist and he stepped a little closer. “I’m not a guest.” he added, raising an eyebrow. “But, I’m not one to turn down a little one on one time, I might be tempted to return the favour.”

She took a step towards him as he did, a smirk playing on her lips. “Who said you have to be a guest? Don’t have to be a guest to watch me dance.” her tongue ran over her bottom lip as she watched him, “I expect you to return the favour handsome.”

“Well, that one is new.” the wolf commented on, seeing a woman laid on on a couch in the hotel lobby, furiously shoving a toilet brush in and out of herself.

“It’s not the most unusual thing I’ve seen admittedly.” Rory looked at the male. “You should see what some of the guys use in the Dollhouse. Fleshlights, fruit, toilet paper tube.”

“Well, my favourite colour that is a difficult one I have so many…” he replied as he reached out to trail a finger along the edge of the strap and down her bare shoulder. “Would it be utterly creepy and cheesy for me to say nude is my ultimate preference?”

“Not creepy at all, though definitely a little cliche.” She teased, eyes closing as his finger trailed down bare skin. “You should request a private dance with me if you’re favourite colour is nude. I love to cater to people’s favourites. Gives it more of a personal touch.”

“Basically, my night isn’t complete unless I see you dancin’… or end up with you writhin’ naked beneath me that’s a good one too.” the woman replied with a grin, as she took a couple of steps forward and sliding an arm around the brunette’s waist as she pretended to think about it, “Hmm how bad a decisions do we want to make tonight?”

Rory hummed her body heating at the words from the witches mouth. “The worst decisions - the should we even turn up to work tomorrow decisions.” The ones that she would think twice about sharing with her pack and Alpha. She smirked lightly, her head leaning against the other brunette.

“Babe.. The point is to get the client so riled up that I won’t need a free drink in the first place,” she joked back. In reality, she was making enough money at this point that she didn’t know what to do with it, but she strived to always be better and better in every department just because she could—just because she wanted to. The extra cash that came from it was only the expected outcome. Besides, she knew that she and her packmate would have a great laugh during said ‘lessons’. “We down a shot everytime someone runs up the stairs to escape and one everytime the group splits up,” the blonde added and then paused. “Fuck, we’ll be shitfaced drunk by the time the movies are done,” she chuckled.

“Hey, I’m sill saving up for a moon talisman. I need all the free drinks I can get - plus free drinks always taste better, not sure why.” She shrugged with an amused glint to her eyes. Moon talismans were definitely more expensive than she had first imagined. Besides, it would be a lot of fun, a lot of giggling and messing about that would be a far cry from the seriousness of work.  “That’s why I suggested it, what good is a drinking game that doesn’t get you absolutely hammered? Oh and when they decide to check out the basement too. That’s always one that makes me laugh.”

The shocked and scandalized expression Gavin adopted in response to Aurora’s fantasy was, as might be expected, false as hell.  If proof of that was needed it came in the murmur of arousal he couldn’t completely conceal.  He tried to choke it back but it came forth unbidden, and for a moment he held her closer before relaxing, drawing back a pace, safer for them both. “Careful, pup, or you may find yourself ambushed the next time you’re out in the forest,” he quipped, winking at her. “You deserve to have your fantasies explored with someone who will care enough to attend to them completely, not just looking out for their own pleasure.  The world is full of selfish people … but you, Rory, you’re not one of them.”

She sighed wistfully as he took a step back, a small pout on her lips at the loss of contact but it quickly changed to a grin at his words. “Oh no, what ever shall I do if I’m ambushed? I feel like I would be vastly overpowered, I would certainly try run, but if I was caught, it would likely be best to bare my neck and submit.” she smirked, though the both knew that she would put up a little struggle, just for the fun of it. “And where would  I find someone willing to explore my fantasies with me, unselfishly of course? King’s Lounge?” she stepped back before taking a seat on the stool again. “I can be selfish.” she assured him.

He knew, he’d worked on the resort long enough to see her at the Dollhouse, and he had watched her quite often. “I’m curious, as to what else you do in it…and whilst I love red, I must admit I’m curious to find out more about the colour you’re wearing now.”

“Yeah, I just throw these things on before leaving the cabin.” Her eyes closed as she gave a small laugh, her head shaking lightly at the banter going back and forth. “Mmm, well I do suit a multitude of colours. Red, pink - white like this one. What’s your favourite colour?”

“See I always knew I was your favourite. Only reason you come to my work really.” Aurora wriggled her eyebrows playfully before she grinned. “So we grab the tequila, we grab the vodka, make bad decisions that end naked in the lake. I’m excited - should we through some rum into the mix or do we have enough booze?”

The vampire heard her heart beating before she came into view. He figured she’d have heard him. And she did indeed approach him. He hummed in question as he processed what she said.

“Is that right? I definitely look forward to it, then. I do have a bit of a weakness for snowfall. Stunning, even.” he agreed. “A week ago, yes, but I spent most of that time with my sister, and finding places to feed. I’m Astor, by the way, Astor Eriksen” he introduced himself, offering her his hand.

“I came just before winter last year. The snow is definitely lovely.” She hummed in thought, there was nothing more gorgeous than the woods in winter. Or the lake. Nature had always been a big love of her’s in life, even before she found herself turned into a wolf.

“Aurora Michaels, but I go by Rory, pleasure to meet you Astor.” She extended her hand to shake his. “And welcome to Arcadia, I hope your stay is everything you desire it too be.” She assumed from feeding places, he was likely a vampires, otherwise the normal restaurants wouldn’t have been hard to pin down. “What sort of things are you into? Perhaps I can play unofficial tour guide?”

“Depends whether you know the right places to stroke.” Rory shrugged lightly as she watched him. “Mmhm, karma is always good to have onside.” she sipped at her water. “Good thing wolves have great healing qualities then hmm? Especially with all your lovely compliments. But you should pay us a visit, I can promise I would be wearing a lot less than I am now.” Honey hues were filled with mischief at his words and she bit her lip lightly. “I won’t hold it against you, if my teasing would just be a little much for you.”

Allie rolled her eyes at Rory’s offer before throwing her an exasperated and amused look. “Hey, if you’re up for it I could use knowing how to put on a show like that in general. You never know when it’ll come in handy,” she said in return. “Oh, you poetic little devil, you,” she said after chuckling cheekily at her words. However, her face lit with genuine excitement at her offer so she was nodding even before she finished her phrase. “You got it. Should we go for stupid, makes-me-wanna-vomit movies or genuine gems?”

“Definitely, a little bit of strip teasing can go a long way in your line of work Al, plus it’s a useful life skill for getting free drinks too.” She grinned at her pack mate. Rory loved just having weird conversation with her pack like this. They put up with her playful side well. “A broken heart brings out the poet in all.” She grinned as the blonde agreed. “Or we could upgrade to vodka, get the makes-me-wanna-vomit movies and turn it into a drinking game - we down a shot every time some idiot goes off alone or goes towards the creepy noises.”

Brooke thought about Rory’s words for a few moments. “Let’s start with clothes fun and see where the night leads?” Brooke suggested. She wasn’t going to lie and say she wasn’t attracted to Rory, she didn’t think a person at this resort wasn’t attracted to her but she liked to hang out and see where things led. Especially when she had to be sexy for work. She certainly didn’t want to do her work when she wasn’t at the lingerie store.

Rory fake pouted a little before winking. Clothes fun definitely sounded ok to her right now and she nodded with a smile. “Let me grab my dress from through the back and then we can decide where we want to go, whether it’s dancing or to get something to eat.” She slipped of the bar stool and moved quickly to the back room coming back through as she pulled her dress over her head. “So where too first? We could always see if someone is putting on a show at the Dominion?”
